heard an interview with strachan before the game yesterday when he was questioned on how the old firm result would affect next season to which he replyed "Hearts beat us 3-0 at the end of last season. and they where no where to be seen this time round". Go on wee man get them told! for the last 2 yrs rangers have been making noise all summer and indeed before about how they are gonnae do it next season. it easy to win game when there is no pressure but celtic have stepped up and won all the games that mattered and i'm confident we'll do the same again next season.

next season, once again the press will start off with rangers are the best thing since sliced bread etc etc, just like last season and they fell flat on there faces:84: i hope to * all the rangers fans will start making noises about how "this is a new era" and crap like that, then that way celtic will whip them next season and teach them a wee lesson:celt_2:

whether we would like to admit it or not, next season will be a challenge for us.

people say this is the worst rangers team in years, but they have beaten us the last two times.

fair enough once, but to get completely humiliated by them is too far. we might have won the league this season but many of our performances have been shocking.

i do believe we have the ability in our squad if they actually play to their potential.

I think you've slightly over reacted there. Beaten yes...completely humiliated no.

Yet another hysterical post about a poor performance.

So now its a 'bit humiliated'. FFS Do you expect us to win every old firm game forever?

Getting knocked out of the CIS cup by St Johnstone at home is completely humiliating. Getting pumped out of the Scottish Cup by the worst team in the league is humiliating. Going potless for a 2nd season in a row is humiliating.

Losing away at the team in 2nd place in the league after having already clinched the title is annoying, nothing more.

I dont expect to win every old fiorm game but I do expect some of the players to try like * never before and play for the jersey more than some did on Saturday.

Bang on the money there Greendave. In saying that though it was annoying. It was an opportunity to shut the press and the huns faithful up. I am totally * off reading about how great Walter is and what he is going to do to us next year. If Saturdays game was a pointer for next season then we are going to finish well down the league when you look at the teams who have gubbed us lately.
