Looking to get my Mrs a tablet of some sort for under £250, been looking at the the Nexus 7 but would prefer if the tablet had a decent front and rear camera. She wants one that can browse the web smoothly and play Youtube, Putlocker and BBC iPlayer videos and hopefully have HDMI output. I've seen hundreds and i mean hundreds over the past few days but then i read bad reviews and it puts me right off! Just basically looking for someone who has a decent tablet and can assure me that its capable of the above

    Hail Hail

The nexus camera is not very good and it doesn't have a HDMI output.

Going to find it hard for that price. The Nexus 7 is a brill device and can be picked up for around £160; however there's no rear camera and I'm not sure about HDMI out as it's only a 7".

iPad's aren't worth the extra £££ when Nexus 7's are only around £160

Had a Nexus 7, bought it for my mum and sent it back within 2 days, had the iPad for more than 8 months or so and i love it, So it's worth it to me.

It's a individual choice but I would rather pay the extra for the full iPad,that's a good point about the refurb cause most of them aren't even that they are mostly just old stock

Went for the Toshiba AT300 managed to get it for £267. Has everything she would need and the reviews seem good, Thanks anyway for the input lads much appreciated!
