Lol.. never noticed this before.. I love Johnny Cash. I'd reccomend whisky when listening to him, makes his music even better. My favourite song just now is Thirteen, usually have a different favourite every few weeks, he was a legend.

Love a bit of Johnny Cash! Folsom Prison Blues is probably one of my favourite songs ever, always gets an airing when people are drunk and singing at house parties at 3am aswell! Great singalong tune! :50:

Also, i really enjoy June Carter Cash. I seriously reckon i would run away with her. :56:

Edit: 'Walk the Line' is one of my favourite films too!

I never used to like him, was old mans music to me lol, but I bought a greatest hits in 2005, liked the american stuff and bought all that, then got the prison albums. Then seen this box set and decided I have to have it. Struggling to pick an album from it to listen to first lol.

How much did you pay for the boxset? And where did you get it?

£121 for the 63 CD Complete Columbia records collection on Amazon UK.

£10 for the 3 CD (100 song) complete Sun Records box set.

The sun records stuff is his earliest stuff, the Columbia stuff spans most his career

Love a bit of Johnny Cash!! Started getting into his stuff when I was about 14/15, and read a few books about him and watched Walk the line and that. Terrific musician!! I thought Joaquin Phoenix did an outstanding job portraying Cash as well!

It is expensive but also very good value, works out around £2 per CD. I fyou look at you CD collection id imagine if you picked 63 CDs out and worked out what you spent on them it would be more than £120...thats how I justified spending the money anyway
