I can certainly back this up....where he sits the cameras often pass the crowd near the dugout and wether its a tv crew or press photographers he's on it like vomit (no offence)....i guarantee you've all seen him and his kids on tv at some point...live match or highlights
And im only saying this as to agree with supremo that he definately knows this guy too well....media * :50: ....not my words though

A little funny though Marie that the people who do discuss it are ones who have just joined, and seem a little too desperate to portray Lennon as a bad bad man.

Personally I am not going to believe a fan of another club who no doubt booed Lennon everytime he got the ball when he was a player at Celtic.

This would be the perfect opportunity for all the haters of Lenny to attempt and alienate the Celtic support from Lennon before the biggest game of the season so far.

I'm not disputing a difference of opinion took place between a couple of consenting adults (well at least one).

But there are people waiting to drive a wedge between the support
& between the support & neil.

I don't like Neil Lennon, I wont hide that. If I wanted to paint him in a bad light I would have made the story worse. I am just telling you EXCATLY what my mate told me. He is probably the most obsessive football fans I have ever met and this is the first time I've ever heard him criticise a Celtic player apart from McGeady (who refused to sign an autograph for him outside Barrowfield). I jumped on the forum as it was posted on another forum and my best mate is the topic of conversation!

To be fair...if the guys are telling the truth(if) then the supremo fella has said that they are hopefully putting a positive spin on it....or at least trying to(talking about his 'mate' and celtic/the press) so I don't see that as him trying to put the boot in.

To be honest....only those that were there know what happened and it might never come to light what exactly did happen and what was said.

His teenage daughter is a season ticket holder as is his sister. I'd imagine he left them with them.

I've been with him in the street and people have recognised him from a clip that was constantly replayed to advertise a forthcoming Old Firm game.:smiley-laughing002:

Fair enough. Lennon never ever played against my club, but if he had I'd probably have been one of the main culprits giving him abuse, but I've grown up a bit now. The first time I have ever seen him in the flesh was a few weeks ago when I got my mates spare for the Barca game and I actually started feeling guilty about the abuse I've given him over the years in conversations/websites.

Just heard ''he is my best mate'' stories all my life mate and they all turn out to be rubbish.

So to hear one about Lennon (the most hated man in Scotland for some odd reason you can't blame me for being a little suspicious

Fair enough mate, but I swear on my daughter's life and my old dear's grave that what I've posted is the truth as far as I have been told in a few conversations with him. I am not a Rangers fan but if I told you who I supported you would all claim that I might as well be one and that I was lacking in a bus fare ;)

Regardless of whether the events we have heard are true or not, the bottom line here is that it was an exchange of words between a fan and the manager of the team he supports.

Its up to us as Celtic fans to put this to bed and move on because as long as we are fuelling this with prolonged drama and various versions of events then the more satisfaction we give to those with malice intent waiting for us to fall on our faces.

It seems lately that for every one thing we have to celebrate there are 5 spanners to be pulled out the works. Almost this time last year we were 15 points behind them and in a state of oblivion but went on to win the league and qualify for the champions league and beat the best team in the world on our 125th anniversary (Remember that?) Maybe some times we are guilty of being too passionate to the extent we cut off our noses to spite our faces when * like this comes around by trailing ourselves through the mud whilst we point the finger of blame at others.

What exactly would be the satisfactory outcome here, Lenny to apologise, the fan concerned to apologise? Maybe we should just do the right thing and see it for what it really was, a storm in a teacup and get on with supporting the team we love.

I heard he said she heard they said he said they said the whole world was there in the seats around the dugout......only 50,000 at the game but 10,000 of those was sat in and around the dugout and heard everything.

Lets ignore all the bull * and wait for a quote from lennon.

Oh and to all those lurking huns trying to start * stories.
