It's a football match mate - pretty sure he's heard much worse as a player (not including the bigoted/sectarian *).

Aye, the fans giving him dogs abuse at the games are just being *. He would walk through brick walls for Celtic and the supporters. We know that for a fact. But he does need to act quickly to resolve some issues, especially at home in the league.

Disappointing to hear that from a fan. I am faithful through and through. And have been. Its one of the cornerstones of why I follow Celtic.

So thats acceptable then? I dont think it should be.

We are top of the league, SPL Champions and still in Europe.

What buffoon thinks this isnt good enough to want to stand in front of our Manager and give him that *.

The Manager's position should carry some respect for the position alone if not the man.

What i mean by faithful through and through is -

Blind faith can be bad as a club can take the * with it and not meet the expectations of its support.

And i've supported Celtic since the mid 70's and seen the good, the bad, and the down right ugly:celt_2:

Well what are we asking is acceptable? Does anyone even know what was actually shouted at him? Or are we now having a pop at people swearing from the stands?

I think you are being very ignorant in calling people buffoons for having a go at our league form mate - top of the league totally masks that imo.

Europe has nothing to do with this part of my conversation either :50:

Then you will know that we are in a good spell just now then compared to some of the poor times in the 80's and 90's.

And Im not talking about blind faith, your misreading my post. Im making a difference between criticism and abuse/ slating which he has been getting.

Lennon has been nothing but good for the club. Stuck by us at personal cost. As long as we win the league and continue to progress forward its all good.

Their will be bad spells, but anyone who starts ranting over the recent poor results at home needs a reality check. :celt_2:

If he has said anything it's because he's as frustrated as the supporters when form isn't as good as it should be in the league. He's the man to take us forward though,we've seen that already and I don't even want to think about having another Manager.

Everyone knows Lennon hates losing, he says it himself and every other footballer who has played with him says it. Heat of the moment stuff, the same heat that would have caused a few to say "I'll never be back" or "You're * you should never be allowed in a Celtic shirt" today. A disappointing result today, but if death threats and bullets won't drive Lenny away I'm sure a few sentences won't either.

Your misinterpreting what I have said mate. I have said many times that the club, manager and players should always be questioned and criticised regardless. Or we have a situation that occurred in Govan. What I said was that any clown who feels he has the right to face off and give abuse to our manager at the game or just after is a * buffoon of the highest order and has caused a scenario that is potentially embarrassing.

We all know that Lennon is a volatile character, though he has been keeping that in check this season so its no surprise that he has reacted.

And what I was asking is now what are we classing as "abuse", and how do we know he was actually getting "abuse" today?

Something along the likes of "* sake Lennon this is * - get it * changed ya numpty"?

Reported as a fiery confontration so am assuming it wasnt going to be a civil exchange of how the team was playing and what tactics were being utilised.

Lennon has felt it was severe enough for him to even consider his job here. Pretty extreme considering what he has been through.

If the fan/s that were involved did actually in a respectful manner ask to speak to him in a calm manner then I will hold my hands up and apologise. Im sure that this wasnt the case and that it was bampot spouting *.

The appear to have directed their "grievance" to him about the team as well. Rather than onto the park.

Usually when someone wants to pull you up to your face it tends not to be banter and is usually abuse. Maybe Im wrong though.

Do you think whoever it was was justified?

I can't possibly comment on that as I don't know what was said.

If it was something like "here lennon ya ginger *, get this changed or al boot yer baws" - then yes, the guy is a total *.

If it was something along the lines of "* sake Lennon this is utter * garbage" and Lennon was to react to this, then it is nothing other than a heated discussion at a football game.

I've seen MUCH worse posted on this site at times in relation to Lennon after a Celtic loss in all honesty.

Lennon didnt feel it was justified. And abusive language was used.

    "
"I can't repeat it (what fans said) because it is public arena but there were a lot of expletives and heavy criticism, which I didn't think was justified and (there was) a lack of patience with the team as well."

That might be a bit ignorant calling them that. They are allowed to shout and swear at our manager and give him abuse, sorry, criticism.

A man at such a high position within our club should know better, he needs to rotate, if he wants to leave then let him leave.
