Yeah, fair point. :smiley-laughing002: I'm talking about when we're in the opposition box and have the chance to fire off a shot and decide to play it out to the wings or back into midfield instead.

first in the league and a * hair from the last 16 in the cl . remember these are uncharted waters for both lenny and the squad , our team and manager are learning and gaining experience as we go. have some faith for fucksake , some people have short memories of where we were just a few years ago.

Lenny's SPL form is very odd. Some great runs and some dire ones including pre-Xmas last season and this season. As for this season all I can say is thank * it isnt a normal season with even the sort of poor Rangers teams of the last few years or we would be miles behind.

There is really no excuse IMO. MON and WGS had to keep churning out the league wins when on CL duty midweek. IMO Lenny has the deepest squad of good players of all the managers but he doesnt use this properly IMO. I have to say the SPL table is bizzare at the moment. The crazy thing is the I reckon this is the worst standard SPL I can remember.

League is our bread and butter. Away from the CL we need to get the work done.

We have a large squad, use it.

Nothing is totally unacceptable in football, celtic nearly got relageted at Den Park once, celtic have had poor league campaigns before and it will happen in the future, big deal.

See honestly, I really think Lennon may have been a bit too concerned with the absence of the Green Brigade, and got distracted by it. He was up til 2am this morning tweeting about it!

Think Lennon picked the strongest team he could have today, while people may question his subs mccourt came on and changed the game only player who ran at them brown came on and was good, lassad never got much time to do anything but looked a lot more interested than hooper did at any point. My only problem with the subs was Lennon left it too late to make them, anyone who was watching could tell it wasn't workingand we needed something different.

And even after this result we are still sitting top of the league with a game in hand, the problem is that we don't have rangers in the league chasing us there is no panic button there is no pressure the league is a fore-gone conclusion if there was a team in the league who will push us then we wouldn't be having results like this and i think the players are well aware of this Lennon needs to start working on getting rid of that mentality and should be giving guys like mcgeough, watt, miku and lassad more game time guys who are desperate to prove themselves and will give everything for the team. Samaras, Hooper, Commons and Mulgrew didnt look interested, thought Kayal was phenomenal and was probably the only player who deserved pass marks today.

Compared to some of our other domestic misadventures this season I didn't think we were playing that badly for most of the game, other than the finishing being APPALLING. I felt like we were about to score two or three but just couldn't be bothered getting round to it.

I have this recurring paranoia where we make it to the last 8 of the cl or better and finish second in the league

Its the lack of gameplan that worries me. They seem to work the ball wide, there no one that can cross, no one in the middle so they work it back. Someone slips and the opposition break

I can't see this going on for much longer, even though it's disappointing I think we'll get out of this slump for our upcoming games. All the players need to do is to stop thinking about the champions league when playing a domestic game in the SPL.

I wouldn't say commons is one of his favourites as he gets dropped often.

The likes of Hooper,Sammy,Mulgrew & Brown will play fit or not.

NL brought in players as cover for upfront in the SPL Bangura, Miku, Lassad but has no confidence in his own signings so never plays them.

yes totally unacceptsble being top of the league with a game in hand and i decent goal difference.

come on guys, we all know that if lenny rotates players and we dont win you guys will be the first to complain "why is he playing untested player and not sticking with player we can trust this is unacceptable, blah blah blah"

the reason why home games are hard is because the away team comes to sit back and hit on the break like we have done in the champions league. ict had 3 shots and scored one they were lucky like most spl teams that beat us

True about teams that come to Celtic park and sit in but its up to the manager to find the weakness in their formation and put the right players out there to break them down.

IMHO Celtic under NL do not make enough chances, think we had 2 chances off target before ICT went ahead then the players had a bit of urgency and created more chances.

This urgency should not come after the other team score it should be there through the whole game & its up to the manager to press that the players do this.

Im not saying all the blame is on the manager but can't believe he took off Watt and left on Hooper(who done * all)

We have more than enough players to rotate a good 6-7 payers and have decent enough guys coming in.
