I think it's a fair assessment. He makes world class saves and rarely makes blunders. Even when he does they aren't exactly huge blunders, of the Green v USA variety. It's also worth noting that I don't think the league you play in matters so much when you're a goalkeeper. You can judge a defender by the standard of opposition because sometimes it may be a lack of pace or skill from his opponent that makes him look good. Or vice versa- I often look at Paddy's goal against St Mirren as an example of this- wonder goal, yes, but if you look at some of the attempts at tackles you'd have to say that the poor standard of opposition was making that run look good. With a goalkeeper, however, it's not such a big deal. If you tip the ball away from the top corner or get down quickly to save a close range header then it doesn't matter how good the opposition are, it's still a great save.

Not trying to be funny Butch but it really is a struggle trying to understand your posts at times so I have to ask who is Frank? Who is Sir Hiss exactly and what connection does he have to Fraser Foster? Also what has a dolphin got to do with keeping the ball out of the net? [IMG]

Butch, who the * is sir hiss? What the * is the dolphin? Why the * is it relevant if Fraser can do 'the dolphin'?

Also yes, I am 'daft enough' to praise Forster after what he did in the two games against Barcelona not to mention his other massive performances.

You're such a tedious bore Butch.

    Am I right butch?

Ahh finally the Dolphin reference is cleared up. FFS ask any keeper to try and make a save like that and 9999 times out of 10,000 they'd all fail to make the save.

so Sir Hiss is Fraser's agent?

Would you not agree that you would rather see Forster catch the ball comfortably instead of doing 'the dolphin' and risking us conceding an important goal?

I've lived on this earth for 28 years and that, my friends, if the first time I can recall a scorpion being mixed up with a dolphin.

    Good times.

Comes down to what you believe is world class. I personally feel it is a term embarassingly thrown around these days.

So he isn't in my opinion, but that's just because I see it really as the top 5 in the world.

I agree, fraser forster is *. Any keeper that can't do the dolphin from time to time is not worth employing.

I also believe that frankenstein is a suitable nickname for forster and in no way disrespectful.Nor is it showing you up as a *.
