It's not THE best * goal ever lads, was a beauty though.

Joe Hart's mistake that made it though, terrible from him. FF should have started tonight as he's only getting better and has made 2 mistakes in 3 years (probably more) whereas Hart is cocking up quite a lot this year.

Forster would have saved that imo. :bbpd:

After seeing the amount of gushing at the goal I am monumentally under-whelmed.

It was a sensational piece of improvisation but in reality it was a goal made to look good by the most over rated goalkeeper in world football being out of his box chasing the ball like a *. A beauty but not even close to being the best ever.

Hart didnt do as well as he might have, but Zlatan was still 25 yards or so away from goal...his back to goal...on the angle and the ball dropping over his shoulder. Very difficult skill to even strike the ball in that position. To score was amazing.

Opinions will vary on whether it is the best, but * *, what an effort.

I've been telling this to anyone who will listen for months now. How he gets a game for either City or England is beyond me. Forster is by far the superior of the two

Forster would have caught it in the air as he's about 100 feet tall.

    Brilliant goal.

    Hart had a shocker tonight.

Didn't have much to do but showed indecision with defenders, completely missed both crosses he had to deal, at fault for the third and should have cleared the ball before the 4th.

It was a brilliant goal of that there's no doubt but anyone calling it the single greatest goal in the history of humans kicking things is talking *.

Dylan McGeouch's one at Parkhead was better for a start :icon_mrgreen:

How can you be underwhelmed by that goal? The sheer power needed to hit the ball over 30 yards from a bicycle kick would be unreal, only a select amount of players in the world could have ever even thought of trying that let alone actually succeed, sensational goal.

Totally agree here. Just fantastic vision to even imagine it was on, and then amazing technique to carry it out.

I've seen a dozen people tell me it was the greatest goal of all time, the fact it isn't even close left me feeling disappointed.

I wanted to see something incredible, what I seen left me shaking my head at Hart. A stunning goal no doubt about it but it was an intuitive piece of improvisation not the best ever.
