We are 11/2 to beat Benfica not 10/1.

Anyone know what Forster's SPL clean sheet record is standing at after the two and a bit seasons that he's been here? I'd imagine it would be quite impressive.

Of course I can see that. Not doubting that we'll have to raise our standard for the Benfica game, just don't think we're as bad as you're making out.

Glad to get the win, Aberdeen look a good side, a team I can see having a real shot of making the Europa league group stages, and 18,000 people at an spl game outside of glasgow is unheard of in recent years, also Celtic fans were great aswell downing out the commentators!

We're very nearly gauranteed European football after Christmas now and I'm sure there'll be no excuses if we drop out of the CL. Making the Group Stages was the most anyone hoped for this season. Taking second or even third is a huge bonus considering we were written off when the draw was made.

I really hope they do. Hibs slipped up today but if we have Celtic, Aberdeen and Hibs making the group stages of European football next year it would be outsstanding for Scottish football. Might be a big ask for Aberdeen and Hibs because of seeding though.

ffs can't believe you want credit for deriding the team, if we get knocked out of europe.
Seems like you want them to lose

just got a look at the goals there. 2 very good goals imo. As much as it was great to see Lassad get off the mark, Wanyama's strike really deserved it after such a strike. Mulgrews goal was sweetly taken.

3 pts, back on track in the league. Bring on Benfica:celt_2:

Naw! Can't let him go away I get some laugh off his posts, really dunno if he honestly believes the stuff he says or is he a top notch wind up merchant :56: .

Either way, I think it was a stuttering performance against a (until the first goal) well drilled Don's team. They would have been looking for a positive result considering the impressive turnout from the home fans, to try and make those fans come back more often, but thankfully we got the points and not them.

Onwards and upwards from here hopefully and here's hoping for another massive result on Tuesday :celt_2:

wanting credit only from telling the likes of yourself and others this team aint that good in the SPL, wanting them to win, not lose but wanting you to understand also if you buy with peanuts, you only get monkeys
and it will be the case when we sell Hooper, Wanyama, and any other
you only loose yer better player in any team unless you are united that buy to improve we sell to survive big difference.

Top of the league, yet not good in the spl.

    Wanyama,ledley,matthews,kayal,wilson cost peanuts
    or * all

unless you are united that buy to improve we sell to survive big difference

What the * does that mean?^^^^^How does it happen do any teams do it,is it the new way forward.

Celtic will win this League with double figures in points to spare ,Europe is a bonus and a rollercoaster for the fans .

If Celtic get knocked out of Europe I would'nt be upset looking at the group we are in ,we were never given a chance from the off but there doing well but its only H/T so there is a lot to play for yet ,the bottom line is the League and Celtic could win it with a reserve team .

Exactly. Three points and two-nil away from home.

We can discuss quality of play until we fall asleep - and rightly so - but quality of results is what ultimately matters and we got we set out for today.
