    Messi didn't actually outright slate us. The Record's over emphasis on the word "lucky" was intentional * stirring by taking harmless words and giving them meaning.

    Didnt exactly slate us did he. As far as slating us goes that was pretty lame. As for him pinning someone against the wall .... absolute tosh :smiley-laughing002: .Bit of an overreaction to his comments really. Daily Record had to try and pick up on something and its been jumped on by most on here. Its a nothing story and should be treated as such.

    I don't read the papers. We played great, deserved to win, Barca are a terrific club and lost to us. But they are not bad losers. Everythings just hunky dory in my book.

    It is perhaps understandable that some of their players don't know how to react well to losing, since they don't lose very often. They really should strive to be more gracious in defeat in the future though, especially if they attempt to come back to Paradise and end up getting their arses handed to them again :50:

    Last season they called Chelsea everything because they did not beat them. They blamed the mourinho's "thumb in the eye" for not winning the league by slating Mourinho.

    In the Nou Camp 2 weeks ago they called Celtic "Anti Football"

    In this instance they were.....having 20+ shots and scoring 1 isn't the remotest bit impressive imo.

    The most spot-on post I've seen in this thread is if it was Ronaldo saying it, everyone would be up-in-arms.

    No they didn't.

    I don't really see why tbe last part matters but it hasn't been two years since they scored outside the box in Europe.

    Can't believe people are getting so worked up about what the wee man may or may not have said after one of the greatest results in our history.
    Been fortunate to have seen some great players first hand Maradona, Cruyff, Zidane to name a few but Messi is the best by far. Barca fans don't know how lucky they are to see him in their colours every week.
