    If Wanyama does go I really hope it isn't Cardiff or Southampton. Money aside it would be two steps back in his career.

    For those who are in love.....
    Spot on park and the rest of our scouts work all year round to identify targets,and they would have been in no doubt about scouting replacements for wanyama,hooper,Forster etc..

    Even if they weren't here,we're searching for these unknown gems anyway as part of our model

    I'm hoping he's sold to a decent club for as much as possible and with hooper more than certain to be sold I reckon a top class striker can be bought knowing that we have ledley brown rodic mcgeough and kayal who is a perfect wanyama replacement. Although the scouts should have a replacement ready more likely very cheaply done.

    His agent is Modia is a *, commenting on wanyama not receiving a pay rise in 2 years? I'm sure he was offered a contract extension and a pay rise after his first season? Which i'm also sure he rejected?
    If hes going to continue to cause trouble with such disrespectful comments in the media, I hope Wanyama gets him to * before it damages his career.

    It does seem tedious but that is there job. Way back in the early 2000's a certain Mr. Henrik Larsson had abit of an arsepiece for an agent, telling the media that he could earn this and that elsewhere and pushing for Celtic to increase his pay to a level suitable to his talents..

    Henrik then got a contract of £45k-£48k (depending on what sources you read) a week. Henrik stayed quiet and dignified throughout but it's his agents job to be a * - a smart * at that and get the best for his client. Wanyama's probably the same.

    According to the Daily Sevco, Beerschot inserted a 5% sell-on clause in the deal when we signed him. Beerschot has since went bankrupt and started a ... wait for it ... Newco! I'm pretty sure we could get out of that clause when we sell Vic :icon_mrgreen:

    Showing disrespect towards a club your player is still currently under contract to. Showing potential new clubs that your your agent is difficult, lying, money grabbing e.t.c..

    Looks like Southampton is dead. Supposedly Cardiff haven't met his valuation.

    Seems to me like he's staying unless some top half EPL club comes in, and the only names mentioned at any point are Arsenal & Liverpool?

    If the reports from his agent are to be believed, then it just seems like momey, money and more money to me.

    He has undoubtedly given us good service, but if Southampton or Cardiff is the height of his ambition, then * him to be honest.
