Now that the league is won do you think Brown, Doumbe, Sheridan, and one or two others might feature in the first team in the run in, although not too many drastic changes with the cup final coming up. It would be good to see how they fare.

I'd like to see Lawson get a few ganes and hopefully Cuthbert will get a look in. Nice to see JFK back. McGlinchey is another wee Chesney has high hopes for.

Dounbe - does any one else think its strange he hasnt had some sort of run out?? Has he been that bad ofr the reserves?

Sheridan - would like to see more of him but still early days.

Kennedy - wouold def like to see him have more games this season

Doumbe has been stinkin in most of the reserves i've seen.
Heard summat about having to pay that French club 400k if he actually plays a 1st team game

Sheridan is class no doubts at all he's gonna make it .Spend the summer in the gym bulkin up a bit

I'd give Caddis a go too

I think GS has already brought through enough young players this season. and still managed to win the league. Now it's won it would do no harm to give a few more the chance to play in the first team, but we all want to go out on a high so maybe he should play his best 11 against Hearts so that WE the fans can see us get the trophy presented ater a good win. Then we have the huns to play and we can never afford to take that lightly. We need to give them a real doing in their own back yard so that we go into the break on a high.

What was Ferrys injury? How long was he out for? Ive got alot of hope for this lad, hope hes not *.

Shame about Grant he was meant to be a ready made lennon, I thought he had recovered. Back injury wasnt it? Can be a bad one.

An awful lot of our very best young players suffer a very bad injury that holds their progress up a year or so-Kennedy, Maloney, Grant, Ferry, Cuthbert, Beatts, L. Miller and to a lesser degree Mick, Crainey etc. I think this contributes to the slighty late blossoming of our best youngsters like Maloney and Liam Miller which led to bad timing contract wise with them leaving when they are just blossming. Because of the common delay, not a lot of players look like they have really 'arrived' till they are about 22 or so. We must watch out for this-McGeady springs to mind. He has a lot to learn but I reckon he will be a top player in a couple of years when his contract is nearer to an end.

Just seems to be the luck that follows young Scottish players everywhere.

I think having to overcome those injuries takes real character and actually helps the players in the long term
