Brown plays, we win. HE doesnt play, and we're total *.

    * I hope his injury isnt as bad as people think and say it is.

I am 100% sure we have won more games with Brown in the team than out it.

You're chatting utter *; he didn't play vs Killie on the weekend - we got beat. He didn't play vs Ross County - we were * and drew. When he plays we very rarely lose or draw, champions league games are an exception because they're so difficult, but even then we've only lost 1 European game out of our last 8 with Broony playing.

This is the actual truth so I dunno what you're on about, it's now become physically impossible to deny Broony's importance and brilliance.
It's actually just not possible any more, so stop hating and get on board the bandwagon :icon_mrgreen:

We lost in almost the final second of the Barca game. Hard to blame that on Broony.

    * spectacular performance the first team as a whole. To hold barca like that for 94 minutes. Unreal.

Great performance but the least we expected. Third goal was a thing Of beauty, just a tremendous piece of football!

Now keep it up going into the league, we have dropped too many stupid points already this year.

Brown adds an edge to our play no doubt, he seems the type not tonaccept slacking from others around him.

Commons excellent as he has been all year, lustig looking great and nice to see Hooper grab a goal and get rested.

    Job done Bhoys!

Brown is a good player. There's no denying that. he's also a very good leader and the players all look up to him. You can tell that.
He is not technically better than Wanyama, Kayal or Ledley though.
I think we do play better when Brown is on the park but I don't think he's an essential part of the team. It's not as simple as:
    Brown = win/good performance
No Brown = no win/bad performance

With Brown, most of the other players play that bit better than they might have, without Brown you have a technically better player on the park in Kayal, Ledley or Wanyama.

It's a tough debate and I'm on the fence. Slightly leaning towards no Brown. Mostly based on the fact that he is infested with injuries all the time.

But we had 47k on Saturday for a competition that the zombies aren't in, compared to the crowd last night in a competition the zombies are in...

How do you work that one out Columbo?

He's come on leaps and bounds in recent years, didn't rate him at all a few years ago but now he'd be the first pick on my team sheet. I think being given the captaincy has also helped his development, he doesn't make the stupid decisions he used to, he has definitely matured as a player.

Well done to Lennon and the team for such a great response to the weekends lack of performance last night. A total contrast with great movement off the ball. Some excellent combination play and a good tempo to our play. Lets not forget as well that St Johnstone came in on a very good run of form making our performance last night all the more impressive.
