Can anyone shed any light on the truth in any of this?

Martin o' Neill has told his board he needs to sign lots of high quality players if he is to take Celtic to the second phase of the champ league.
Out will be Sylla,Valgearen,Laursen,Fernandez,Douglas and Hedman, Lennon for free and Balde for 2m

MON it is rumoured will get £15m in the summer he will sign Buruc (£800,000k),Dellas from Roma,Kuffour from Bayern (free) Celtic are looking on an all out attack to go alongside John Hartson for next season with the purchase of Craig Bellamy from Newcastle (5m) and Robbie Keane from Tottenham Hotspur (5m). Celtic will also buy Paul Hartley from Hearts (500K) to strengthen the midfield.Parker (Chelsea) on loan,with view to permanent deal worth (£3.5m)

It's that time of year again were everyone gets their hoops up and then * all happens.

I'm not getting excited about any name that gets linked to celtic until the * is shaking MON's hand at a press conference holding up a hoops jersey with number 56 on it, even then i'll have my doubts.

Anyway we can keep all transfer talk (or lack of) in here.

I don't believe ANY of these rumours until the player's holding the shirt up at Parkhead with his name on the back!

 

I've heard from a few sources that MON will have money to spend , but i'll belive it when i see it .

 

I can't see it happening but if it did then i'd be very happy. Not geting any hopes up though

 

The only ppl who know for sure are the board ,and we won't be told about it

 

The signs from CP at the moment don't indicate we'll have £15 mill but of course we can always hope. So long as we get Bellers and a good defender I'll be happy.

 

Sorry mate - but dream on -board would never go for this - anyway if this is all depending on players leaving - who the * is actually going to buy the above players from us?

 

Joos , rab ,headman & lenny could all leave for free . any ideas when the contracts run out for Sylla laursen & fernandez , soon hopefully

 

This is the funniest thing i've read for a while 15m ? pfffttt unlikely. Even if we do sign Bellamy and get a decent defender it's still not going to be enough for next season or the Champions League. The fans can't depend on two players to carry a team which is full of too much dead wood in my opinion.

I think we need to bring in a new goalkeeper 3 defenders, 2 centre-halfs and a full back.I would 3 midfielders one of them being a winger and maybe 2 strikers Bellamy and one other.I know it seems alot and we dont have alot but all those wages saved and bosmans it can be done.
