Midweek Glasgow drinking

Hello all
a pal and I are coming up from Lancashire for the Barca game in three weeks. we've never been lucky enough to get champions league games before. want to make the most of the night and would be grateful for any advice on best places for a few beers after the game. we usually go to bairds pre match but what about late night Irish bars in town on a wednesday night?? Also will we get any trouble in town or be refused entry from places if we've got colours on? Thanks in advance for any tips. this forum has always done us proud on past trips

 

Chances of any bars in the city center allowing you in at night with colours are slim and not advisable. You can bet there will some drunken Orc in the city who if he sees you with colours on will start something so not worth the hassle or risk.

 

If you're planning on heading to town after the game i wouldn't wear colours, it's just not worth the potential hassle, if you are wearing colours then hang around the Gallowgate.

 

i would avoid wearing colours if heading in to the city centre sounds silly but the amount of times i have been knocked back sober after a match by door man on a power trip is crazy . If wearing colours head to Gallowgate sure to be a good night after the barca game
