I would rather they layed off the songs about the huns but to call them obsessed is pushing it a bit.

That banner is from pre season and nowadays you would be lucky if they devoted 5 minutes to the zombies.

 

I've been saying for a while that we need to tone it down with the mocking of the zombies at Celtic matches now. They died in June, so we shouldn't still be giving them air time at our games three months later.

However, as Sean Daleer said, the banner was produced on July 24th, a mere month after their demise. Why the corrupt SFA feel the need to bring it up now, in September, is beyond me. I guess they feel they are evening things up a little bit, after dumping the new club in Division 3. Shower of * idiots.

Celtic are a lot of things, a broad church if you will.

We are predominantly left wing but we have supporters from all across the political spectrum, we are predominantly Catholic but have lot of supporters of all denominations and non religious supporters as well, we have a healthy Republican element and have done since our inception, to deny that is to indulge in revisionism of the highest sort, we also have unionists and Scottish Nationalists and supporters from all over the world.

We are a charitable organisation but we are also a business looking to make money and maximise profits.

To try and pigeonhole us is a futile exercise.

We are Celtic, pure and simple.

There was no paramilitary style in the banner. It was clip art of a popular T-Shirt, with the evolution done in reverse.

A couple of songs I dont believe do us any credit from the GB, but I thought that zombie banner was brilliantly inventive. I'd like to see Pistol comin out and sayin, after speaking to the 'brains behind the banner', what exactly is the problem? Should we now expect Sevco fans to boycott and bully any war magazines,comics etc.?

 

Never realised that zombies fought for the Afghans and the Iraqis

I'm pretty sure that no zombies - undead or alive - were really harmed in the making of that banner, though, so you can clamber down off your soapbox and relax and take it for what it was - banter
