Not the best of times to say it given we're all hurting here but makes a lot o comments on the "WGS vs Lennon" thread seem so daft now.

How, did WGS never lose a game? :97:

For the record I think Strachan is currently better than Lennon, but one result means * all and Lennon will definitely go on to be the better manager in time.

I really don't see why that's anywhere near a relevant rebuttal.

For the record I was attacking the comments in which Lennon was said to be a better manager than Strachan / more attractive football. It's the worst start to an SPL season since pre-MoN and this is without doubt the weakest SPL ever.

As a caveat, of course Celtic should still win the league, and will do well In Europe I'm sure of it. But I'm sticking by my initial point that this makes some of those comments in the other thread look like nonsense.

Every team is the same though. Go through any other forum and its the same. When your at the game though the team should get nothing but our support. I know what you mean about people moaning at the game as i had to move seat because of an idiot like that who moaned non stop and it nearly came to blows a couple of times. I dont see the problem with people coming on this forum and giving their opinion on the team though. Surely thats the point of having a forum ?? Be a boring world if we all thought the same.

I thought after half time the players would've stepped it up a gear but it wasn't to be, very disappointing.

Since Celtic dropped points today....does that mean that Real Madrid and Man City are all of a sudden * too? Funny old game innit?

Don't think today will have any bearing on Wed, though it doesn't do much for general mood at the minute. Ah think today also shows how important Ledley is in our team controlling the middle of the park- we control there and there's little need for unwanted, aimless long balls.

Just to add....Commons had a good game, Brown did really good for his first game back. The signings showed a lot of potential. But the general slopyness is not acceptable. At least let's get the basics right lads. Jesus knows what wednesday will be like, but I'm keepin the faith.

I`d just received and wore the new away strip last night and I must say it looks the dogs bollocks (love it). After last night it ended up behind the lounge room wardrobe (behind the tele). Would`ve loved to be a fly on the wall after the game. I know we don`t have the greatest of starts every year but this year is a lot different. Roll on wednesday.
    P.S. * happens.

    No they * won't.

I want to win every game 6-0, I want to point and laugh at the huns and humiliate every other SPL team, because do you know what, none of them give a flying * about us, so who cares about an 'open and exciting league'?

Did the huns care when they wallowed in EBT's during the 90's and the evil 9 in a row? No they didn't give a * as they coasted title after title while we were on our knees, now we have the chance for payback and to boot every other * right in the balls, and personally, I am pretty * * off by these rotten SPL performances.

Can't believe were slipping behind so early in the league campaign.

It really mAkes me want to say "* what you heard" and say that the absence of the Orcs has created a serious problem of laziness and dormancy in the players.

Im not sure what needs to be done but Lenny needs to light a fire somehow without losing the dressing room.

We we're very poor today. One of the worst performances I've seen from the team under Lennon.
It seems our players struggle to get motivated for the games in the SPL, without Rangers being there and the added bonus of us being in the champions league.
Today there was no urgency, no creativity, no plan B and we didn't have a player who could take the game by the scruff of the neck and take the the game to St Johnstone.
Commons was probably the best of a bad bunch today, but shooting everytime he got the ball is not going to help the team. He needs to get on the ball as try and create changes for others.
The comments on here are laughable though. People calling for Lennon to be sacked need to get a grip ffs!! Bad performances are expected. We will lose games. We just have to live with that.
This might be a blessing in disguise hopefully we see the real Celtic that we know and love on Wednesday :50:

Well that was a shocker of a result, knock a few heads Lennon and get on with a good display for Wednesday.

If your team are going to play like that, best it happens now and not at the end of the season. Hopefully the CL performances will be a boot up the backside, because more half arsed displays like this and we will get royally pumped straight out of the group stage.

A terrible performance and a kick in the balls to the supporters who traveled too support the team. We will still win the league but not as easily as some thought. Performances need to pick up and * fast or we will be playing in front of 30000 a week.

Calm down Bhoys, yes it's never nice to accept defeat, but come on we have another 33 matches in the SPL and I think we'll still have it wrapped up by March at the latest.

We have our first Champions League group match at Parkhead for a few years coming up on Wednesday, is that not exciting to think about, or would you rather we were heading down to Annan this afternoon with the prospect of facing Queen of the South in four days time ???

So come on, accept it was a terrible off-day result, congratulate St Johnstone on their victory and move on.
