Would never do it myself but people are paying customers so they 're entitled to opinions , we have an amazing chance to bring through youth the next couple of years and it aint easy to see slip ups but its the tough games that will bring these players on .Some wont make it but this is the only time we've had breathing space for mistakes

There actually wasn't that many youngsters that played yesterday; Irvine, Twardzik and Watt got a game.

I would have put out much the same team maybe would have started Commons but it's more about attitude and effort! If Celtic fans can see that players are busting a gut to win or get a result then they are much less likely to feel * off even if we don't get the result.

It's about respect for the fans. I don't know if these guys are maybe thinking they can coast to the league title now that the dark side are gone!

I will complain about booing from my many years held seat thanks.

Not one player I can think of in the history of football has ever responded positively to being booed. It just doesn't happen but carry on and expect different results those who do like to boo.

Of course there's expectation to win, but the sheer arrogance to demand that we win every game is laughable. Our focus for the last month has Had to have been cl qualification. We would want anything left.

We will be back into the swing of the spl very shortly!

I think you're missing the point it's more about effort and commitment from the players. The pressure of playing for the biggest team in the country means that you are expected to win every game, fact! That might not happen but at least show every team enough respect to work at 100% capacity.

CL qualification was vital this season but let's not kid ourselves, we beat two poor sides to get in. People making out we hammered world beaters to take our place in the CL is a joke!

He should be taking each game at a time! Why is he focusing on the CL when their isn't a game until the 19th of September? Not really an excuse!

To avoid potential injuries to key players. Wanyama went off with a dead leg yesterday, but it could have been worse. Our first game is at home to Benfica in a mere 17 days, and their squad consists of a load of quality players. We will need all of our best players fit if we want to get out of this group. Finishing second is not beyond us, although it would be no less than a miracle if we finished first.

I fully support Neil Lennon and trust that he will always do what's right for Celtic. Evidently, there are some who still don't believe he knows what he's doing, despite catapulting us into the CL group stages for the first time in four years.

Why are you actively supporting booing? No one is saying we were excellent yesterday and the result was poor but what does booing the team you supposedly "support" achieve?

As has been said already the confidence of players like twardzik and irvine will be rock bottom now and this will not help their progress in anyway. Its a learning process, give them time.

The words are faithfull through and through, not faithful but only when we play imense and win 10-0.

I have always thought booing is very self indulgent and not really what "supporters" should do to their own team. Whether people have a right to boo is a totally different question - and of course they do. But that doesnt make it right.

If a defender has a shocker and costs the team a goal, what is the point in booing the guy? What good can it possibly achieve? Im pretty sure he doesnt feel great about the mistake to start with so the crowd should be encouraging the guy rather than slating him. Most recently it has been Samaras who seems to get it more than most simply because he is not having a good game. Again, as long as the guy is trying and as long as he keeps his head up and looking for the ball, the crowd should be getting behind him even more than usual. Not booing the guy.

There are too many people who go to games to vent their own frustrations but even then I dont have to much of an issue with it. But when people are booing our team because we drew a game against Hibs a few days after qualifying for the champions league, I think it is a disgrace.

People pay good money and expect better performances than what the second half provided and if they wish to show there displeasure in this manner have the right to do so.
However that being said I dont agree with booing as I don't see what good it achieves as the players will know within them selves that the standards were not acceptable and I expect the management will share there grevences within the performance in a much more productive way, which will help the youngster see how they can improve without destroying there confidence which 20000 booing fans would.
People need to be realistic in that we were missing brown mulgrew Rogne kayal commons(although he did come on late) stokes samaras and ledley for the start of the game and also seen Vic wanyama removed at half time through injury and had very young inexperienced players who are not entirely used to these surroundings in watt twardsik and Irvine play in very important areas of the pitch where as when youngsters are introduced normally are surrounded by experienced first team players who help coach them through te game

i myself did not boo but i was frustrated at the way hibs set out their stall they played for a draw and only attacked celtic when they were a goal down on both occasions when they were 1-1 and 2-2 they had 10 men behind the ball

Booing is never acceptable in my opinion. Especially when we have young players on the park.

Which brings me to another point.

I love Lennon, * Bless Him, and am behind him 100%. But he erred yesterday. When Vic was injured we needed someone to come on that had a bit of experience to support the young players. It should have been Commons.

I think Neil disrespected Hibs by playing 3 young players in the centre of the park. And McCourt.

Another point is that the SPL should always be our bread and butter and if we keep saying the CL is more important, we might take our eye off the ball. Probably wont happen, but stranger things have happened in the last year.

And if we knew we were going to be struggling with players we should have brought in a few short term loan signings, at least till Xmas.

The transfer window signings were a shambles. Neil said they were getting a medical on Thursday, if that was true they could have been registered in time for yesterdays match. Once again I think the board were playing a waiting game to see who could come in on the cheap.

12 players out and only 4 in, 3 actually as 1 was a keeper means our resources are now a little restricted.

But even with all that, booing is not acceptable. I also wonder how many of the boo artists are those that constantly scream for youth to be given a chance. Hopefully that * poor show from some fans yesterday, and it wasnt a small minority, has little affect on the likes of Watt and Twardziks confidence.

To be truthful i don't agree with the booing but these guys have paid good money to go to the game and if they want to voice their opinion by booing thats up to them.

I can't believe guys on here giving them dogs abuse while they sit in their house on a free stream, while there is thousands of seats empty at Celtic park.

I do understand that lots of people can't afford it but their is others out there that would rather spend their cash on other things than celtic.
