We really need at least 2 home wins against benefica and Moscow. Can't see us taking any points off barca home and away and think it will be a hard ask to get a piont off benefica away.

Think if we get off to a win in our opener against benfica we stand a semi good chance of qualifying.

 

I doubt any side will take anything off Barca and we will go into every game as underdogs, especially away. I like to think we can beat anyone at home and even away now the players will be much more confident and know what is needed to grab valuable points.

We'll have a far better idea of our chances after the first two games. Get 4 points and I think we have a good chance of securing 3rd spot and with luck maybe 2nd. I can see it all depending on the very last game and if so what a night that will be.

 

I reckon we'll be about 9/2 at home to Barcelona.

 

Quite worried about our defence. Lets be honest our defenders very rarely come up against good strikers, even in the Europa league last year minus Di Natale (Don't think Falcao had much game time) Got a feeling Gaitain and Cardozo will absolutely destroy our defence, same with Spartak with Wellington Ari Mcgeady and Emenike. Then Barca, well, enough said.

Hope I'm wrong though, and if I'm not I hope our forwards can really turn up

 

you dont have to worry with Gaitan......at the moment he isnt even called to the bench because of bad form, and probably some problems with our coach! Still we are not weaker without him as we have good options

 

Schu do have you any advice for our traveling support going over without tickets? What are their chances of getting tickets on the day?

 

well i can´t tell you if the stadium will me full before the matchday, it all depends on our performance until the match.......but normally you can get tickets in the matchday, besides our internal big games and top CL games.Still if you are travelling to Lisbon, i would not suggest coming without a ticket because it can always be a lost trip.....

Falcao played a game and a half, and was quiet apart from his goal (which I doubt we would concede now that Maj is gone). Diego, Arda Turan and Adrian are also class players who we managed to hold our own against. I genuinely can't see any team 'destroying' us with Big Vic patrolling the midfield.

Looking at the stadium from the subs bench, it would be the top left corner. We have a built a cage for the away fans because of Porto and Sporting fans mainly. Unfortunately that's for all the away fans now.

I think net is see through...

Tickets won't be on sale until 3 weeks before the game.

Quite a few thousand, you will easily get 3.5k allocation. And to be honest, if you guys buy it near the away stand straight from the website I wouldnt be surprised if you take over the whole Coca Cola top stand

We never fill our stadium, maybe in quarters or something...

Also, there wont be many of us at Parkhead due to prices from Portugal and being so early to the Summer holidays where everyone has spent their fair share of pennies. Which is a shame. In terms of wanting to go, we would easily fill it, but realistically €€€ is the cause.
