Our next game is Hibs when it's September so I thought, following our fantastic progression into the UEFA Champions League group stages for the first time in 4 years, I'd highlight some very positive stats about both Mr Lennon and our team under his control.

Overall Neil Lennon record as Celtic manager:

    P-122 W-90 (74%) D-14 (11%) L-18 (15%) F260 A86 +174

Overall Neil Lennon record as Celtic manager at Celtic Park:

    P-54 W-45 (84%) D-6 (11%) L-3 (5%)

Overall Neil Lennon record as Celtic manager away from home:

    P-60 W-41 (68%) D-8 (14%) L-11 (18%)

Overall Neil Lennon record as Celtic manager in the SPL:

    P-87 W-69 (79%) D-9 (11%) L-9 (10%) = 216/261 points (83%)

Overall Neil Lennon record as Celtic manager in Europe:

    P-16 W-7 (43%) D-4 (25%) L-5 (32%)

Overall Neil Lennon record as Celtic manager in the Scottish Cup:

    P-11 W-8 (73%) D-1 (9%) L-2 (18%)

Overall Neil Lennon record as Celtic manager in the CIS Cup:

    P-8 W-6 (75%) D-0 (0%) L-2 (25%)

Not to mention as of now:

*He has led Celtic to 4 back to back European wins for the first time in 9 years (When we beat Kaunas and MTK Budapest in all 4 qualifying games)

*He has led Celtic to 4 back to back European away games without defeat for the 1st time in 9 years (Liverpool, Boavista, Kaunas, MTK)

*Since losing away to Atletico Madrid, we've lost just once in our last 9 European games

*Since drawing away to Udinese back in December 2011, Celtic have Played 33 games: Won 28 (85%), Drawn 2 (6%) and Lost just 3 games (9%).

I won't bore you with too many more but I believe it makes for impressive reading and it destroys the myth of anyone that says anything other than we have an incredibly passionate, articulate, intelligent, courageous and developing football manager that is close to becoming a Celtic managerial legend, which would bring his overall legendary status to a practically unbowed level. Hail Hail and thanks for everything so far, gaffer. :celt_2:

I could never reconcile before why people would name their children after their sporting heroes, but the thought occurred to me earlier this evening that I can now understand why some may feature 'Lennon' in years to come. Not just for the statistics, but there is so much more that we all know - the inner strength of the man. :celt_2:

Since he got the job hes never looked back

Pretty amazing stats there. I cant bieleve how well he has turned the European away results around. I said when the team was put of of europe the first year it was ok next year he would have taken this years experience around and take us to atleast the europa cup get some experience then its uphill from there. I did not bieleve for one minuite he would turn it arund as he has espeacally with the away results. I did say reciently on this forum i didnt expect the result on the 1st leg but the 2 nil win was just fantastic for him the team and us the supporters.

If he wants to keep the record up and progress further we must get a couple of players in imo, the champions leauge is a big massive step up for the manager and the team. I bieleve he can do it.

fantastic stats, certainly much more than a manager riding his reputation as a player. hopefully he is here for a long, long time.

His stats are very impressive and his European stats show the maturity that he has built on since when he first took charge. He is showing a real calmness and looks to be giving the players a real belief in themselves. He was rough around the edges, still is to a certain extent but he is growing into a proper football manager. GBNL

I knew Lenny's stats would be good but I never imagined them to be quite that good. Just shows how far we have come since he took control. Sure there has been the odd disappointment but overall the feel good factor is back with us and the players. Long may that continue.

Treble this year boys! The leagues nearly certain, so the players will try so hard during cup games as the league wont be in the back of there mind. Woop woop!

And to think he was on the brink back last October.

The man is amazing. I'm just so happy.

He is an aggressive thug who embarrasses the club and shouldn't be managing Celtic as his first job, it's too big for him...

Impressive stats. It shows he doing what all our best managers have done: Get a good team spirit and a winning mentality while playing in the Celtic way. Keep up the good work Neil. Theres more to come.

Just watched his wee interview post-match on Sky. Great to see the man looking unreservedly happy. As happy as I am for myself and the club, I'm even happier for Neil at qualification last night. Hail Hail!

dont like stats,as they can give false readings, and is only as good as what you want to comply, if you take rangers and they win all there games under ally in the 3rd division, and the second division, what would that tell you! nothing as the teams they beat are crap. run your stats when we are in the champions league and see then what you get, you might find you don't want to mention stats at all.

he stepped in when the club was in disarray, got rid of those not of the character required of a Celtic player and brought in players - alot of bosman frees to mention, has been very astute with money and despite being on the brink of defeat in terms of his job when trailing 3-0 at rugby park, hes turned it round and sent this young, vibrant team into the Champions league with Europes elite! The back-to-back wins in europe, hopefully more domestic success can help us if not qualify for CL every season, then every other season, bringing in much needed finance to the club to service debts and strengthen the squad further.
