Firstly I absolutely love the atmosphere at CP these days it's a great experience for anyone to witness first hand.

Does everyone think however that travelling teams are intimidated by the show our fans put on when it's rocking?

If not Is this a disadvantage for us in any way?

Best atmosphere i went to in europe was the Ajax home leg loss, we still went through and was the reign of Oneil, signing YNWA at the end was fantastic, never forget it as it was my first European game i went too.

The whole point of a home support is to give your team that bit extra by roaring them on to victory - except of course if you're an Arsenal or Man U fan, in which case you just turn up an listen for the sound of pins dropping.....

A big night at Parkhead is the stuff of legend in European football, something we can be rightly proud of.

If people don't just leave the singing to the guys in the corner,CP will be even louder than before in the future.

I like nothing more than a packed Celtic Park rocking for a big game.

My best ever game at Celtic park(That Ive attended) was Martin O'Neills first year 2001 when we played ST.Mirren at Celtic Park to win the league before the split and won 1 0.

Also Hallowween later that year when we beat Juventus absolutely immense

I think tonight the atmosphere will be pretty vibrant pre-match, but when this comes on, the noise will hit a level it's not hit in a long time

Atmosphere is important at football, without it there is no point in being at the game. Supporters can help players with noise, it encourages that extra 10% out of some players, it helps other players become better, it can help the home team beat the away team, the support is important, nothing worse than people telling others to sit down and nothing worse than people not wanting to encourage the team to play better.

I've been lucky enough to attend some great European nights at CP and the atmosphere something to behold. Truely amazing and when I hear the CL anthemn I always have to hold back the tears!

But intimidating? I don't think so personally. Average European sides have come and beat us over the years and in the build up to the Arsenal match a lot of talk beforehand was that they would find it incredibly intimidating and yet the gulf in class was never in doubt. So I would argue that our fans are certainly capable of putting on a display of pure passion but it isn't enough to get a result most of the time if we're playing crap.

In fact I always compare so-called "intimidating" crowds with an experience I had here in London around 5 years ago. I attended a Millwall vs Huddersfield play-off match and the Millwall fans were so intimidating that night that a couple of Huddersfield players cried DURING the match and all their team seemed reluctant to take throw-ins and corners. One seasoned football journalist writing for a Broadsheet actually said that it was the most intimidating crowd he had ever experienced following football for over 35 years.

We're certainly not capable of that.
