You dont live within your means, you live within Dean Hoyles means. As you have pointed out countless times, your club isnt sustainable without his money. This isnt good for football, I dont care how much you love this Hoyle guy, there is no guarantee that he will continue to fund your short cut to the big time.
Not too long ago there was a Motherwell billionaire ( :56: :56: :56: ) that was going to use his wealth to fund his boyhood heros, Rangers (RIP). Turns out he killed them though :icon_mrgreen:

Eh, no :97: Thats money our club have earned from consistently being a top club. :bbpd:

Again, money earned from being a top club.

Clubs that make earn money, deservedly spend more.

I have family that live in Huddersfield, so I always like to see them do well.

Tbh, if it's 8 million you are looking for, I think we should look else where. 8 million is too much.

If we want him, it would be best to wait till next summer. If Huddersfield fail to get promotion they might well sell then for a cheaper price. If they get promoted at least we can move on and put this to bed. Good luck to them and him.

He won't be there next summer.

    He'll move this window.

You really are coming across as a bit of a *. Celtic are one of the most successful clubs in the world, both domestically and in Europe - that's why we have our pick of kit manufacturer. We'll accept the money from our Champions League success because we've earned it. Huddersfield haven't.

That's because people were saying that they wanted Huddersfield to go bust and that they were leaching off English football. Firstly that's just a right dickish thing to do when the guy was just coming on here and starting a conversation. Secondly its ridiculously hypocritical considering how much money Dermot Desmond and Fergus McCann have put into our club.

I had no problem with his initial post, I thought it was quite interesting, it was when he went on to slate Celtic that I got * off. That's a right dickish thing to do considering the vast majority of people on here are Celtic supporters. The money that's been put into our club has only brought us financial stability so it's hardly comparable to blowing millions of the chairman's own money on signings/wage bill à la QPR or Man City.

Might have been a bit harsh. For the record, I don't want them to go bust and I don't think they're leaching off English football - their chairman, maybe.

No need for this type of comment. All it does is inflame a situation & drag the thread off topic. You can clearly argue your point, so there is no need to resort to comments like this.

The Plastics still have the Prem para payments feeding them, they can afford to pay silly wages without becoming indebted towards their owners.

Trust me cha, a rich owner splashing the cash on you when the club itself is making frig all is the last thing you want when things go * over *, in Preston we had that and now the * is holding the club at ransom by refusing to put any more money in.

Seems like I was right to compare them to the huns (RIP).

Doing exactly what Swally was doing last year. Pretending to actually try and sign players with stupid offers.

Thats the Stokes that scored in europe so £8 million for Stokes and £4 million for the Dundee United lads is the score :bbpd:

At least Celtic and Dundee Utd told them where to stick their ridiculous offers. If they really want these players then they can * well pay a fair price for them.

I don't know who Huddersfield think they are but they have tried to take the * here. Big time.
