It's a genuine prediction lads and I thoroughly believe it. Dos Anjos or Cerrone next. Then Edgar, then a title defence in 155 and take it from there.

I was supremely confident in McGregor today because I feel Aldo's biggestt asset is his TDD which was virtually worthless to him in this matchup. €80 at 5/6 thank you very much.

    And NEW!!!

Id be happy with that, he really should fight Edgar and give Aldo a rematch before moving up a weight. If he beat them two then you could say without doubt hes the best in that division.

He could probably retire after 5 more fights, beat Edgar, beat Aldo, move up and beat Pettis or Cerrone then beat the other one Pettis/Cerrone/Dos Anjos and then beat whoever the champion is out the 3. Then he could retire having wiped out two divisions.

155 is a far more natural weight for McGregor to make though and he will be an even better fighter at that weight. Dos anjos doesn't have a height advantage over him either. Cerrone would be the fight everyone wants to see.

Aldo always has his head down before fighting. But there was a nervousness about him this time round. What I don't understand is he is normally testy and evasive at the start of fights before asserting his dominance....but he ran in looking for that knockout punch. He basically did a Ronda Rousey. I feel for him because I still think he's a better all-round fighter than McGregor but results speak for themselves and McGregor knocked him out.

McGregor didn't even have to look for an opening.

Same I feel bad for him as he should really have gave McGregor a good test but still it was his own fault so you cant moan about it too much.

There is no way he will get the winner of Dos Anjos/Cerrone next whether he wants it or not.

It would totally undermine the featherweight division and a lot of people in the lightweights wouldnt be happy either.

The businessmen will have to keep everyone happy and make money. If he fought at 155 next and won, then what? No, they need to milk him a lot more first.

Same hes not proven himself enough to fight the champions above right away, usually someone dominant like and Aldo who was winning for years and clear number 1 would be allowed that.

If he does move up I would want him to fight the 1st and 2nd contenders first before the champion.

I would rather he stayed at the same weight though and defended the belt even 3 more times Edgar, Aldo and Mendes really should all get a(nother) shot against him.

Wow wasn't expecting it to be done that quick, Looks like Aldo had lost the fight even before stepping in the octagon.

Will probably see a rematch then a fight against Edgar.

It would be interesting to see him go up a division because it is obvious his sheer size for this division over the rest is major factor.

So Joe Rogan says Also doesn't deserve a rematch?

A lot of hate coming his way as he says Ronda deserves one but Aldo doesn't LOL

I actually stayed up to watch that man, even though I have work now. :56:

Only plus side was the Romero and Rockhold fights - fantastic.

Aldo looked like a shitebag walking in, totally different to yesterday, madness?

Joe Rogan clearly wasn't having it that he should get a rematch at all. :smiley-laughing002:

    So disappointing :smiley-laughing002:

The * pound for pound number 1 absolutely shat his pants :smiley-laughing002: i don't think I've ever seen a fighter look so tense at this type of level before. He genuinely looked like a man on death row while waiting in the cage.

Hmm Yeah I had a feeling.

    McGregor v Cerrone/Dos Anjos
    (Edgar v Holloway)

    McGregor v Edgar/Holloway

    McGregor v #1 155 challenger

    McGregor v Aldo II

That's how Id expect his next few fights will go. Although Edgar has earned a title shot without fighting Holloway.

Aldo isn't blonde with a set of * though. Rogan's hero worship of Rousey is bordering on weird.
