So many penalties are so questionable but the penalty on Samaras was so incredibly obvious with clear contact.

Look, a draw was a fair result. County put so much effort and were that extra bit courageous. People underestimate County. But any team in Scottish football that goes 37 games unbeaten deserves respect. Decent side County are, expect them to finish top 6. Fair result boys. You can't just show up and expect to win.

Even when Commons isn't playing well he is always a threat.

He could have scored another - the one where he cut inside onto his right, which was heading for the top bag.

Places like Dingwall and Inverness are always going to be tough for us.

We should have won the game. Hit the bar twice, keeper made some good saves and we were denied a stonewall pen.

Preferred the draw to losing! Considering County raised their game and scored a great goal, we had players out/different formation and we have a European game coming up; this wasn't too bad :) Oh and glad Commons got a goal, think he was our best player today and showed a bit of fight. Think he enjoyed celebrating at the end too :D

    * county if they are moaning about injury time.

Nearly every time Kayal had the ball they were gunning for his ankles.

    Highland *.

Why are we resting players 2 games into the * season? It was only 2 weeks ago the players and fans were moaning about needing games to gain match sharpness.

The small matter of the CL play off in four days, in Sweden

Would you rather we played a full team today and picked up injuries to key players, just so we could win an essentially meaningless SPL game?

    Haha aye.

I reckon Lustig will come good but at the moment he seems a bit of a misfit signing. I dunno why the * we brought him in when we have Matthews performing well and could've just kept Mark Wilson who's a better player in a Celtic jersey even if he's made of glass.

Loovens actually had a decent season last year, was right to flog him but today just proves we're in dire need of a centre half and more importantly a number 9. We're going to be up against sides "parking the bus" all season - it's important we a) don't concede and b) have versatile players capable of scoring out of nothing. Their free kick was a wonder goal not a mistake on our part so hats off but we're found wanting up front.

Hooper can obviously score out of nothing but is injured and useless in the air. Punting the long ball would've been a decent option today given they set out to make it difficult to move the ball around on the deck. Teams will be doing that to us all season, especially away from home as that's how we play and we're the team to stop this year. It's been the same for seasons, why don't we just invest in a rough diamond in the ilk of Crouch/Dzeko/Jelavic/Zigic who's quality in the air but can also play on the deck? If we make Champions League and don't I'll be severely * off. I'm sure when Jelavic around people said Jellyman and Hooper would be an ideal partnership up front so I'd go with that and say we need a Jellyman type striker for days like today.

Moaning about 3 minutes injury time is a bit odd. Just because there were 3 substitutions doesn't mean they were the only stoppages. He sounded very naive there.

County have a cheek to moan about anything today. They got off lightly, only conceding one goal. 3 minutes stoppage time is pretty much customary for most games up and down the country these days anyway.

Like I said when we scored, it was justification for the blatant penalty we were denied upon attacking following their goal. Samaras was clearly fouled in the box. The defender didn't even get close to the ball.

I know it's tough for them to swallow, as they were close to a magnificent scalp, but swallow they must. :56: *!!
