Wouldn't touch them with a bargepole, heard numerous horror stories from overcharging to extending contracts to not giving you what they say they will.

It's all bells and whistles and no substance with them. We'll give you a laptop free but then charge you 4 times the price of 1 in over charges.

Sack the contracts mate, just buy a phone outright from anywhere and get a giffgaff sim.

Never looked back since and wish I done it a long time ago

phones 4 u are the worst of the worst scammed me and my gf at the time then the year after i went to carphone and it was much better went back to fones 4 u with my mates from col and they tried to bump them too. One guy took my advice and got a great deal at carphone warehouse. The other guy on the other hand got the * taken for a while.

edit: just read other peoples comments after I posted. Everyone has hit the nail on the head. I got the feeling fones 4 u staff care for nothing more than their own commission.

Ive been a customer there for years now and had nothing but brilliant service.

I think it depends on which shop you go to though.

They gave me a good deal on the galaxy s2 about three months ago. They will also try and price match for you too.

My contract's pretty good with them.

    £35 a month. 2000 minutes, unlimited internet, unlimited text's.

Although it wasn't an upgrade, it was my first phone with them.

    Galaxy S2

Better doing it through your own operator, or looking around for better deals. if you see a better deal, you can keep your number if you go elsewhere.

I used to work for T-Mobile.

    For £10 a month get:
    250 UK minutes
    Unlimited UK texts
    Unlimited Internet
    Free to giffgaff

    For £15 a month get:
    400 UK minutes
    Unlimited UK texts
    Unlimited Internet
    Free to giffgaff

    For £20 a month get:
    800 UK minutes
    Unlimited UK texts
    Unlimited Internet
    Free to giffgaff

And it when it says unlimited internet it truly is as I watch movies, games on sky go etc use about 4 gig a month and even tether it to my laptop (even though you can get kicked off the service) lol

No you top up say a tenner then you buy a Goodybag with your balance.

I usually top up 15 then buy the tenner Goodybag so I have cash in my phone to
