Kenny miller scored a few good and important goals for us but he was still one of them and I never accepted him as anything but one of them.i didn't deny his ability and still don't but the fact remains he's a horrible dirty *,keep them out of our club!we don't need them,we don't want them.

I would have no problem on signing ex-Rangers players but let's face it, there aren't many if any at all that would improve our starting 11.

Naismith's the only one that springs to mind.

If Mc Gregor changed his name to "The Mc Gregor" he would become a complete different entity

and would have no affiliation with dodo fc, we could have him then :icon_mrgreen:

    He’s absolutely pathetic.

Never rated him and have never understood those who do. I think his 'ability' is a tabloid myth - one which some have bought into unfortunately.

No to McGregor - If I compare him to Michael Rensing (just as an example) - A year younger, played for Munich and Cologne and apparently can leave Cologne for 500k € now that they are in the 2. Bundesliga. I am sure there are more alternatives like that so no need to even consider signing McGiggidiy. PS: No to the rest - wouldn't add much to the team I think but I might be biased.

I had this weird dream where Naismith signed for us and was next to the champions flag in full home kit as it was raised, with a big grin on his face. That was it, no comment or anything. Felt like a nightmare. JAmie Ness would be the only one I'd entertain but even then he'd be hard pressed pushing anyone out

Without the fact that I * hate the * and want none of them anywhere near Celtic....

The majority of them don't suit our style of football; the only one who does is Stephen Davis however he isn't as good as Kayal, Wanyama, Ledley and is on a par with Brown.

    I would also take him.

There are others who would improve our team but I wouldn't accept them because of who / what they are.

I honestly cannot believe some people are suggesting even the thought of signing their dross.

We are supposed to be building a team that is capable of at least having a go at some of these teams in the Champions League - infact, actually getting into the group stages outright, and some are suggesting that we should/would sign players from a second-rate team?

Absolutely shocked in all honesty - smacks of no ambition whatsoever.

McGregor, Naismith and Bocanegra are all good players. Naismith especially is good for European games if we play one up top, roaming in behind and making a nuisance of himself. Bocanegra's experience would be useful I guess and McGregor is obviously a good goalie.

I am not sure on Aluko. I know he caused us problems but he was the main focus of their team and he isn't going to get that here. Any deal would need to be short term I think.

The rest just aren't good enough. I've never been a fan of Davis though I do feel he has enough to do a job in the lower half of the EPL. Not really seen enough of McCabe, Ness, Perry etc to make a judgement. If we snap up another McGeouch they will be raging.

    Kyogo. A phenomenon
Boca would be delightful. McCabe potentially. The rest, no.

They still have (had now I guess) 7 of their starting 11 who drew at Old Trafford. Not saying we should sign any of them just saying they have held their own in the CL in the past.

With all due respect mate - the past is where they should stay, alongside that club they used to play for - should be like something out of Superman, them all in a crystal prison banished to the depths of Scottish Football!

Just don't think we should pass up the opportunity of good players for free just because of who they played for. I wonder if people would have said the same about Jelavic if he hadn't been sold in January. McGregor and Naismith will both do well do there too I think.

Never mind who these two animals played for, but what about the fact that they HATE our team and what it stands for? is that a good enough reason or should we just forget that because some people actually rate them?

If we have to resort to signing players like this, I for one would be disgusted.
