Of course the support is big but for the sake of a few games a season we need to make a stand and not sit by and let this pish be seemingly acceptable for 'the good of our game.'

Your basing your whole bhoycott plan on only 2/3 clubs voting no?? What will you do if most vote yes??

A few games could be points dropped. Celtic's success if more important than any message we can give to the clubs here. Of course I'll be * off with the clubs that vote yes but we'll have to find an alternative way to get that message across because I certainly won't get that message across at the expense of supporting our players.

If most clubs vote yes and a newco is in the SPL, the games a bogey as far as I'm concerned. There's no point in playing in a league which condones cheating.

I think it depends on the final outcome. If they get in I think a lot of people might have this attitude and try to punish the teams who voted them back. But if they get voted out anyway, I dont really see much value in punishing the clubs who are left in the SPL.

By the sounds of it I think the fans of these teams could punish their own clubs over this issue a lot more than celtic fans could.

Reading this thread concerns me.....we as a fanbase should be sticking together, which means a MASS boycott of those who condone cheating.

Any club who votes yes will not recieve a penny of my money.

I honestly think if this new company is voted in alot of people will turn their back on the game in Scotland anyway regardless of who they support. I would go too away games in Europe not sure id bother with clubs in Scotland run by men who would off said what the huns done is acceptable.

I know a lot of Aberdeen fans who have said they won't go to another game if the newco get back in to the spl. Scottish football will be in a far worse state if they do get in rather than if they didn't

Quite simply TV money will dictate the outcome of this vote. Without the money quite a few of the other SPL clubs will be crippled so really its a no win situation for the clubs either way. And the clubs that do survive will suffer, including ourselves, from the lack of competition. I think they vote to keep the newco in the SPL but they will give them points deductions for a few seasons and a cup ban.

no, for the simple reason that they'll be voting for the good of there own club. and there may be circumstances which we don't know about.
also it's wrong for us to try and force our opinion on someone with the threat of boycotts, because we think we're right.

Would be even better to boycott Clubs who vote them in if they don't get in. That means not only will they suffer once for being wanks, but suffer double and could end up going out of business themselves :celt_2:

Cheers didn't realise that. To be completely honest scottish football is pretty much dead and buried at the moment anyway what with the EPL getting a 3 billion TV contract. Boycotting games will only speed up the process that is already in motion. I'd also point out that if we start putting other clubs out of business we'll be in serious trouble because right now the english don't want us in their leagues and an Atlantic league is just impractical.
