    I assume he wasn't a Celtic fan prior to signing but i always thought the vast majority of players had at least a warm affinity to the team if not becoming new recruits to the fanbase after playing with us. As far as I can remember he didn't leave under bad circumstances either....we actually got about £3m for his move to Derby (wiki). I really don't get it....:54:

    He is a hun. Used to play for his boys club team with the rangers top on under it his old man and hole family are as well.

    I normally wouldn't say this about anybody and I know it's really quite harsh, but I genuinely wouldn't care if Burley got hit by a bus tomorrow.

    His existence annoys the * out of me and his petty hatred for us because he wasn't good enough to make it at Celtic just adds to it.

    Good spot. I must have been thinking of another one of the Europena Rennes games that I watched. That just shows you that Burley is always ready to spout his bile without even thinking about it. Completely made up just to make Celtic look bad.

    Can only assume he wanted a wee kick at Celtic because of the situation at Rangers and anyone not in the know will now have a bit of a warped opinion of Celtic.

    Maybe it's his way of putting off potential signing targets from going to Celtic. Subliminally planting the seed of doubt in their minds....Thinking about it that is giving him far too much credit, he isnt that intelligent.

    Craig Burley really tests my love for Celtic players.

    I thought he was fantastic in the 97-98 season and was one of my favourite players and I hate speaking ill of former players.


    That being said he is a * roaster of the highest order.

    It's testament to how much hatred he has for us that I say that.
