Anybody here own a website ?

Hey, I am looking into running my own website which will be about electronic dance music (EDM).
I currently have a wordpress account and have some stuff up on that, just as a beginner to get used to writing and posting information.

However, once I start to get more and more visitors to my wordpress site, I would like to have my very own website which would allow a lot more flexibility in what I could do.

What I want to know is, does anyone on here have their own website ? If so could you post it on here and discuss how you got started, how popular your site is ...

I've owned a few websites before but I don't have them anymore. Are you familiar with internet marketing?

 

I have my own website and several other sites I've developed for clients, music is a common theme in most of them. I also develop ecommerce solutions. PM for a chat about it.

 

How much do you charge to set up a website?

 

For a fellow TC bhoy I won't charge anything. I make money from the big companies happy to help out. I have access to very cheap domain registration and hosting too.

I don't want to post any links to sites here or make it seem I'm touting for business. PM me and I'll send you all the good stuff.

Eventually that is what I would like to do with it. I only know of a couple of ways, through advertising and through affiliate marketing.
Main thing to do first of all is to create a popular website, then with the views I get I can start to think more about making money.

Do you know some SEO techniques?

 

Not too good with SEO, but I can drive traffic to the site using social media and other means of marketing. Hopefully targeted traffic too.
