    Not on one player, but three or four players at a value of about £2.5m each (approx). Two experienced centre backs and one target man. It seems feasible enough to me, but we all know that Celtic never do things the easy way, so I'm probably just dreaming.

    I really do hate how tight our board is when it comes to spending on players. I know that they have the best interests of the club at heart and don't want us to ever have to go down the same route as the filth, but we're not asking for £10m to be spent on every player we sign.

    A couple of £3m signings wouldn't go amiss from time to time though, when we really need them. The scum signed Jelavic for £4m in 2010 and he is now a star in the Premiership with Everton. To be successful in Europe, you need to spend that bit more cash. I hope the club realize this before it's too late and we're dumped out on our arses again. Bargain buys can only get you so far.

    Just had a read of some Swansea forums and they seem to think it's a done deal that will be announced tomorrow.

    They're probably as aware of developments as we are (know nothing, really) - you never know what their local radio/news is reporting though.

    Just have to wait and see, i guess.

    I wouldnt sell ki unless we 3-4 million pound target man too sign before deadline for tues game. Isn't monday night deadline for play-off game. No point selling ki now if we no striker bout too sign. Would keep ki for first play-off game and sell then if no striker lined up

    As has been said already, in '10/'11 - when we had no CL money - we spent £10m from the £10m we got from McGeady and the fee we got for Boruc (wasn't it £4m or so?). £14m earned, £10m spent - in a season where we had no CL money.
