Love a bullshit quote, so I do. Wanyama is going nowhere unless silly money is offered.

if you read what his supposed freind is saying about feeling under valued to me hes looking for more cash rather than a move to a lower end epl side with no european football cause none of the top 4 will be looking to buy him.

He's only 20 and a huge prospect. Even if he does go we'll get at least £8m for him. He's going nowhere though that article reeks of bullshit.

Brace yourself for a whole summer of this nonsense lads. With the Huns in meltdown these rags are going to have to fill their papers with something to replace the made up Hun transfer stories.

Everybody is talking about how strong our midfield is but if Wanyama and Ki would go than I don't think it will be strong enough for CL Qualifiers

Aye, if he was to go I would be expecting silly money. I expect Wanyama to reach the very top eventually but I'm sure we can keep him for a good few years yet.

He'll be experiencing Champions League for the first time possibly and I think he'll be key in they games, in front of the defence. He's going nowhere, like you say.

don't believe a word of it. he said last term that he was delighted to be here and that he has time on his side to make the leap to England when he is good and ready too. i doubt that time has come. i believe he is a grounded and genuine bloke.

    no quotes, no story.

The worst form of journalism. Who is this friend? He has a reputation in Italy because of his brother? That's like saying John Sutton is loved at Celtic because his brother is a Celtic legend. Terrible, terrible article.

The low standard of journalism in Scotland never ceases to amaze me. These people will print literally anything to sell papers. Rubbish quotes, a complete non story.

Wouldnt surprise me if he wanted to improve his learning by going to England; you ask any Celtic player now if they would like to play in England at some point and they would all say yes.

Playing Ross County, Killie and ICT 3 times a season does hee haw for your development; just breeds bad habits when playing in Europe IMO.

Hopefully it isnt true; doubt it is. But it could be, I have to laugh though - when we are linked with a big name we cant stop talking about it and looking at the positives. When one of our guys considers their position then its complete bollocks.

Absolute garbage. No quotes from Celtic , no quotes from Wanyama and one, probably falsified, quote from a 'friend' of Wanyamas. It isn't news that Wanyama is attracting admiring glances from England and the continent. Of course he is, he's a phenomenal prospect. That doesn't mean he is leaving. He's obviously happy here, who wouldn't be the way we have been playing? Next year he gets to have a crack at Europe, where he will flourish. Wanyama will leave us eventually, as if he keeps progressing, he could play at the really top level, but not any time soon. And when he does go, it'll be for more than the value of R*ngers, and their foul little mouth-piece that published this guff, combined.

How long does his current contract have left to run does anyone know? If he's on a reasonably lengthy contract we could name our price for him.

8 mill? You're having a laugh. If the EPL clubs really want him they can start the bidding at 18 mill and rising, otherwise they can gtf. Wanyama is a great prospect, he has everything in his locker to be a huge success in the modern game.
