Worst ever Celtic player(s)

You said "cha is probaly the best attcking right back we have had in years". That seems pretty clear to me.

Scott Marshall (Gordon's brother) Only played 1 AGAINST THEM but was shocking

 

Mo Camara got himself in some shape during his time at Celtic you could see he tried his hardest but unfortunately he simply was not good enough don't think he is one of the worst players ever.

 

He used to wear a bandage when there was nothing wrong with his arm..........I think that puts him in with a nomination for Worst Ever Player - even before we start critiquing his ghastly playing performances......

 

Mark mc nally, used to dread seeing his name on a team sheet!!

I think some people are getting mixed up between being a * player and being a bit of a *.

Craig Burley? * maybe....but definitely not a * player, he was one of the most important players in the team that stopped the huns doing 10 in a row.

Berkovic? Total *, * attiitude but very skilful and no way one the worst Celtic players ever.

There is a difference between being a * and being a * player.

 

I thought Fox was a good enough wee player.... although he didn't have to be to good to replace Naylor

 

Lee Naylor was better than Danny Fox. The treatment Naylor got from a section of the Celtic fans was well out of order. Even when he was being booed and heckled he never hid from the ball and always put in a shift.

I quite liked Lee Naylor, he certainly isn't one of the worst ever Celtic players.

 

I felt sorry for Lee Naylor.

Quite liked the guy. Just not as a player, had some great moments in the Hoops though.

 

Lee Naylor's first season alone was surely good enough for him to not be amongst the worst ever players? He was absolutely outstanding. * knows what happened to him after that though. But one of the worst ever? Not a chance

 

I believe that it's too simple just to say 'worst' because there are a variety of ways to define that. For me there are 2 categories: '*' or 'Talented but played *'.

Apart from a few spectacular performances for WGS - Such as a couple at Pittodrie, in a 5-0 drubbing of Hearts and THAT goal v Shakhtar :icon_mrgreen and pre-season and August under Mowbray then I would still say he was incredible disappointing for a £3.0million former AC Milan protege.

To me that looks quite a good team, id say 100% certainly would finish 2nd in the SPL.
