Disappointed, Rodgers is a good guy but now he is going to Liverpool and they're wanks (no offence Craig :84:). He is also a good manager and will probably do quite well which is also bad. And finally Swansea were good to watch and played good football unlike most other teams in the prem.

Still hope Rodgers comes here one day.

Apart from an Evertonian or a Manc, I don't know any of you could say no to Liverpool from Swansea:rolleyes:

More money, more transfer budget and a chance to turn a faltering giant around - I certainly would.

Guy has done a tremendous job at Swansea and the fans should do nothing but praise him - certainly no Judas, regardless of him saying he would stay a couple of days ago.

    broke my heart.

always said he was a great man, always more important than being a good manager. it was the man himself we loved, not neccessarily the professional football employee.

im sure those who follow me on my twitter have seen my reactions today. forgive me, im not in the mood to discuss this at length.

"Why would I want to leave Swansea? I love the city, my family are happy and I have a big job to do here" - March 2012.

Oh Brendan. First Martinez and now Brendan....i make a vow today to never take notice of the manager again. i will never chant a managers name.

If heartbreak from the woman of your dreams hurts more than this, then i hope never to meet the *.

He will need time and money to sort out Liverpool. The problem today is that fans expect instant success. Liverpool are years behind from challenging for the title.

Don't really see him as a judas just a manager going to a bigger club, good luck to him.

Deary me. The guy took a job, did a good job, and is now moving on to a bigger and better job. We would all do the same.

I'm sure Swansea will be able to get Brendan Rodgers back in 12 months time once he fails to live up to the sky high expectations of the Liverpool fans. The Liverpool job is a poisoned chalice these days.

Cant blame him for taking the bigger job anyone would do it, more money securing him and his family for life really. Wont win the League etc with them but will make them a wee bit better, Martinez or Strachan for Swansea i think.

I really think he will do a good job. In time. We won't get top 4 next season. I think i am in a small group of Liverpool fans who are realistic.

Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham will all strengthen next season and it will be again tougher than ever to get into the top 4. Brendan Rodgers seems smart in the transfer market though. Buys like Danny Graham, Vorm and Sigurdsson worked amazingly for Swansea and the loan of Caulker aswell. Hopefully he will do the same with Liverpool. But it will take time.

We can't go in all guns blazing and spend mega bucks on trash like last season. Fact of the matter is that with the money we spent last season and where we finished it was a failure.

Carroll, Henderson, Adam and Downing all need to prove themselves next season or Rodgers will take in his own talent.

Top 6 should be the realistic aim and i would be happy with a top 6 finish. Delighted with a top 4 finish.

    Better appointment than Martinez, IMO.
