Every time I click on a thread, I get redirected to some scam 'you've won an iPad2' site. Is there some way to stop it? It's doing my feckin head in, I'm on an iPhone btw.

    Sound like malware.

You need to download malwareytes from malwarebytes.org and run the free version.
However as you are being redirected I cant garantue the download you get via that link will be genuine as it may redirect you toa fake so best downloading it on another PC that works OK if in doubt.

    I'm not picky.
Yeh sounds like a form of malware to me too.

I was getting this about a year ago when you clicked on a link but it took you to a completely different site. Told the guy about the link misdirection thing and he said that some of those types of malware can be pretty nasty.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Spybot - Search & Destroy are two of the best anti-malware programs out there and you can get them for free as rob says. If you wanna pay for the full package for Malwarebytes it gives you a protection module which is like a type of firewall that stays active and blocks any potentially harmful sites. Only cost me $19.99 I think it was for a year subscription.

It won't be TC, it'll be some adware or malware on your computer. Download AVG or something like that.
