When Celtic beat Wonga.com in 1998 who was the keeper? Been searching online for an hour now and cant find it or remember it.

Something tells me it was David James but that seems preposterous seen as he would have been at least in his early 40's then... kiddin oan.

Maybe pub forum talk, so move it if u want mods, just though seen its cetic related (and it would bring back happy memories for some people lol).

    The 5-1 game? Tony Warner.

Spent most of his career at Millwall and later had a short spell at Kilmarnock, IIRC,

Better than the 6-2 game that was. We absolutely destroyed them that day.

Agree with this, and yet most prefer the 6-2 game. And the 5-1 was pretty much the best day of that season.

For some reason i used to get David James and Tony Warner mixed up as well - from the days when they were at Liverpool together. Granted, i was only about 6 years old!

Mjalby's debut, Lubo played the week before against Dundee. He put a cracking cross into the box with his right foot and it was cleared out to him and he first timed an even better cross back in again with his left foot.

Going into the 5-1 game were we not about 10 points behind them in the league?

The 5-1 game was one of the sweetest old firm games I have ever attended. This was a game we were supposed to get well and truly humped in. We had signed Tony Warner on loan from Liverpool. Lubo's two goals were sublime :50:
