It's not a myth. Regardless of what they were saying on there we still had a handful of numpty Cardiff fans coming on here saying he couldn't defend worth a * and that they had two better right backs than him. Likewise, they were saying Ledley wasn't good enough for Serie A and that it was Whittingham who made Ledley look good.

Actually think Lustig will turn out a decent signing as well. Only point I was making is he shouldn't take the view of a few fans, that are probably * at the thought of losing one their better players, as gospel.

That's another * logic. We hardly fought off a host of clubs to sign Izzy or Wanyama. Can't remember anyone being in for Izzy and only Aston Villa were looking at Vic, although don't think they even put in an offer (?). Weren't there a good 4 or 5 clubs from England and Germany looking at Bangura as well? :icon_mrgreen:

Edit: Never mind, already been covered while I went for a *. :icon_mrgreen:

I don't see how it is a * logic. Izzy and Wanyama where hardly dragging on. Assuming Agents, Scouts and Managers do their job this saga has been dragging on for some time, and its hardly been confidential. It only is a * logic if it refers to this being a fresh rumor. Which certainly is not.

The youtube videos are 2 years old. They're from 2010/2011.
So what seems to have happened is that his form has dipped. He had a big season 1-2 years ago and all the big teams in Holland were looking at him.

This season, in 18 games in the Tippeligaen, he's scored one goal. He's had 4 assists, which a'int much to write about. Youtube man, it's easy to cut a video and make someone look like a world beater. But he good be scoring wonder goals against teams that aren't so good. Lots of factors can come into play.

This one's bit of a random guess, but he's only had 2 yellow cards all season. Maybe he's not so keen on the physical side of things.

Maybe with his form dipping is why he's fallen into our bracket of player. But he prefers to go to the Eredivisie or Germany, so we'd have to outbid Alkmaar and offer more wages.

Cracking news that lennon is intrested in him on the news today, he is a great young player and would love to see him in the hoops, centre half and a target man as well

Goan someone who's actually seen him play a few times post please. The vast majority of this thread is conjecture based on our current standing in the game and i can't be arsed watching enough Rosenborg games to form my own opinion on account of the fact i'm a lazy *. Are we really saying he's not good enough for us unless we can't afford him beacuse this transfer has had media attention for a few months? He's 20 years old!

I'm not gonna pretend i know much about his ability now, but from what i've seen he looks like he's got massive potential. The scouts (who'll have seen more of him than anyone on here) clearly think he's got something as well.

His fans might be slagging him but who on here honestly never got totally * off at McGeady's final ball at some point? Is he not Celtic class either then?

Haha thanks mate :icon_mrgreen: Just think we've done well in the past via the scouts and feel this is a no brainer. They know what they're doing. I think there's both talent and money to be exploited from this.

Agree. Just look at Ki. Some of our fans were actually HAPPY that he left. But I think he'll tear the Premier League a new one. I'd love to see us get Henriksen because he's one of those players who has the potential to play for one of the top teams in Europe.

Good times! I want him here. As is said, dunno too much about him but he seems like he can give us a spark in the middle. Still hope Paddy sorts out his fitness as well though.

Yeah, don't understand why people are talking about it today, we've known for a good while that Lennon is interested in him.

And have his performances dropped since then, which the consensus seems to suggest?

No not at all he has been moved from a deep centre mid to an attacking centre mid he can now get up and down and has become a really good box to box centre mid
