    Anyone going to any games?
Apparently there's a poor amount of tickets been sold. I didn't even know it was being held at Hampden.

Don't there has ever been any interest in it. I wouldn't even bother watching it on tv personally.

Ticket prices for the Olympics are a rip off, paying top dollar for by all accounts is a 3rd World competition within Football at that level. Keep banging on about a legacy and about encouraging youngsters being more involved in sports. Well if they can`t shift the tickets, drop the prices to make it more accessible (to the majority not the minority) and if needs be give them away free to the youngsters.

Don`t watch Olympics much (apart from that Jessica Ennis, tidy bit of stuff) and as for the Commonwealth Games(shall save the rant for closer to the occasion).

    Cavani with fighting words

“I want to go to the Olympics,” Edison Cavani noted. “I will not accept a ‘no’ from Napoli. I’ve already spoken to them about it and made it clear I want to play for my country.

“I’m ready to battle for Uruguay if they need me.

“If Napoli don’t allow that then I will firstly return to Italy, cause unimaginable trouble and then I’ll go to London anyway.”

Games are in Hampden? Might catch a couple if I can. Outside of the UK Olympic Football is taken very seriously. Especially by the South American teams.

I'm sure Messi was at the last one. Can see the likes of Neymar and Ganso up close.

I see they are giving away 50,000 tickets free of charge to kids now. That was predictable, nobody in this country is really interested in Olympic football. I don't blame them, it's a load of pish.

i would love to go, some great players on show, i will be trying to watch it on tv.

i hate the british attitude towards the olympic football. every other nation uses it as a youth tournament and take it very seriously including the players themselves.
