    Watching it back, the sheer quality in his two crosses is phenomenal. When you know he's got that type of delivery, you've got to wonder if he's a little wasted at CB.

    It's nearly impossible to defend against such a delivery.

    He had the assist to Hooper and Loovens (he delivered to Loovens right?), scored from a corner and open play. 2 goals, 2 assists. He really should've had 3 assists, beautiful through ball to Commons but he failed to fire it one-time.

    I said in the 'Who do you want to score' thread I wanted Charlie to notch.

    When I hit my Cuz's today he was in his scratcher, so everything was up in arms as me and the bhoys descended on his house, he fired up the telly and Charlies Angels was on the first channel on.

    I knew then, the day was ours, I said Charlie would score and Charlie had a * stormer today, and I can think of no player, in my lifetime, that has returned to paradise and made such a difference.

    Charlie Mulgrew, the Prodigal son, You are Player of the year by far.

    That's it. Charlie has just stepped up and overtook Kayal, Izzy, Hooper, Wanyama, Forrest... all our best players, he has just become even more valued than all of them|!!!

    What a joy to see Charlie Mulgrew play such a stormer of a game on the day when we clinched the title. He is not just Celtic to the core but he has had to big time earn every minute on the field coming from a position where we all or close to all thought he was just a useful squad player signing when he became Neil Lennon's first signing. Now he is a core and vital player in our young and growing team. What a brilliant story and lets hope it has many happy chapters left to run yet.

    I really cannot believe it. I seriously thought hr would be another Daryl Murphy but I hold my hand up Chico is class and he will be a Celtic captain for ears to come. Well done Lenny!!!!

    Mulgrew's massive improvement physically (he is so much more powerful, as well as faster over both 5 and 25 yards) has been his springboard to a wonderful season.

    All the more remarkable considering he started the season on the bench and his father dying.

    I've never seen a defender take the game to teams or take the game by the scruff off the neck like he does. Can't believe I'm saying this as I have always preffered him at CB since he moved there, but Izaguirre will have a massive fight to get back in this team next season.

    Charlie needs to show the same strength of character to go on and improve even further now.

    All the good things about Charlie Mulgrew over the last 18 months were on show during that game yesterday. I have serious man love for him.

    Well done Lenny to bring him back down the road as well, not many Celtic fans thought it would come to much, myself included.

    I guess that's why Lenny is the manager and we're not :celt_2:
