    The star was gold on the previous home shirt. I think it depends on the colour of the collar and the sleeves etc.

    Nah, should only be a European cup thing, and even then I think it should only be for the big one. Adding stars for winning the scottish league isnt too far away from adding stars for winning the scottish cup, or the glasgow cup for that matter.

    Arent clubs free to use them as they want? Is there a rule for this?

    Celtic uses 1 for their European Cup win, huns for their tainted domestic champion titles.
    Ajax uses the three stars for their 30 domestic champion titles although they have won the cup with the big ears four times, so they could put a star more on their tops.
