Is anyone else a little embarrased by the way the gaffer has acted over the decision by Collum ?
Argue all you want about it, but leaving it till the last kick of the ball to get extra time against Kilmarnock in a cup final is not good enough.
The team played very poor compared to the rest of the season and im dissapointed Lennon hasn't slammed his players, instead of the referee.

Embarrassed, not a chance. We should have had the opportunity to go into extra time. Neil Lennon will have slammed the players, there's absolutely no doubt about that. That's a penalty every day of the week and the gaffer has every right to be furious with the referee.

why would he slam the player we created 6 or 7 great chances that on another day would have went in and considering gollums previous with us a think he has every right to question is competences especially when we have official quitting the game because of people like gollum being fast tracked and despite proving they aren't up to the task are still being picked ahead of more experienced officials

Although we were not at our best, we were not very poor either. I honestly cant compute this line of thinking. We were the better team on the day. Its really that simple. Lenny is correct to mention the penalty as it was a big game changing moment. Sometimes even the better teams dont get it all their own way and that was the case on Sunday. We deserved to win the game but didn't and credit to Killie who at least tried to play properly and worked their arses off. However it does not change the fact that the better team lost on the day.

Hate all this pish that people spout about Lenny being embarrassing, not once have I ever felt that way about him. In this case he's speaking the truth.

Not as bad as my hun pal who told me that Neil was embarrassing after the game on Sunday because he decided to talk about the game at all and should have refused to due to what happened with Liam Kelly's dad. Complete and utter pish that.

What happened to us during the rest of the 80 odd minutes ??? we never got out of 2nd gear and got what we deserved with the runners up medals, Killie were first to everthing and wanted to wim more, the best team won on the day, no arguments from me about that.

in my opinion he allowed himself to be seen as unsporting and i was shocked to see him moaning about a penalty in the last minutes of a game (even though it was a penalty), when in all honesty we should have blew them away because of the much superior players we have... we were *! and if you cant get yourselves up for a cup final then when the * can you ??? i would have rathered he got stuck into his team for being shitebags as they couldn't take the glory that was right there in front of them, like the caley game last year, we bottled it the mental attitude was poor from the players and we never played like a team

Nah. The missed penalty was a bad call. The booking of Stokes for diving makes it infuriating.

Of course, because everybody knows you shouldn't get stonewall penalties in the last minute if you are a far superior team and having a bad game.

The lunatics have taken over the asylum in here.

everyone is entitled to an opinion so less of that pish,

we had more chances but To say we were the much better team is crazy, Forster had to make a few good saves, and like us they fluffed up a 1v1.

And for Lennon to say Kilmarnock didn't deserve it, and blame the ref Dissapointed me.

Not embarrassed at all. Say what you want about how we played, how we shouldn't have needed a penalty to take us to extra time, etc, but the fact is we had that chance in the final minute, and were denied a goalscoring opportunity illegally. Rather than following the rules and punishing the Kilmarnock player for denying us that chance, we were once again on the receiving end of a horrible decision from a cheating hun ref, and Stokes was booked. Lenny has every right to say what he said, as that referee cost us the chance to take the game to extra time.

    It's a figure of speech.

And Kilmarnock didn't deserve it, we were the better team. Their keeper was MOM

I've never been embarrassed by anything Neil Lennon has done, and certainly not by by questioning why we didn't (in my opinion) get a stonewall penalty.

Not embarrassed but when him, thompson and mjallby were gathered round that cameraman at the end looking at his pictures, I thought that was a little unprofessional.
