The hate from some "fans" towards collum is a disgrace, he never made a mistake the whole game.

Also is anyone else a bit tired of every ref being called an orange *? Why would a catholic be an orange *?

I'm sorry but we can't blame collum for the 90 mins we failed to score in ffs.

You posted an image which clearly shows Stokes getting fouled?

There's very little contact, it never brought stokes down, that is simulation

You cant just hit the grass because someone's boot brushes against yours.

Sorry for being a football minded fan rather than a conspiracy minded one.

You don't need much contact when your running at speed. He got fouled, went down and it was a penalty. Simple

Never a penalty, Stokes was * all day then tried to cheat at the end to get himself out of it, normally a big fan of the guy, but he has a lot of making up to do to get back in the good books.

Collum done ok, and the fact people claim he is part of some Orange Lodge conspiracy despite he fact he is a passionate catholic is laughable.

Show me someone who has called him an 'orange *' please?

There is quite clearly contact, from behind, if you've ever played football then you'd surely know that, when you're running at quite a pace, then any sort of contact on your heel knocks you completely off-balance. So by saying the ref got the call wrong, which he did, I'm now peddling conspiracies? Aye ok then:56:

I've already stated in this thread that it is embarrassing to rely on a last minute penalty to draw with Killie but it was a penalty, of that I have no doubt. Stokes had an open goal, he'd have stayed on his feet if possible.

The fact you're making up blatant lies is laughable.

I think it's hilarious that people keep posting the gif and saying it proves Stokes dived when it clearly shows Stokes' foot caught between the guys thighs :56:

    Utter madness!

No but we can blame him for getting yet another major call against us wrong. Lets be fair here, the guy has previous. Its argued that a ref has to be 100% sure before giving a decision. Even if he was at a bad angle and couldn't clearly see the contact, he was in no position to judge that he had not been touched either. Yet he chose to book Stokes. That should give a fair indication of his mentality when he takes our games. That said, he is a terrible referee anyway.

I love how people are saying 'Collum can't be against us he's a Catholic.'

I'm not a Catholic, so am I a hun then?

I'm not saying he is against us btw, it probably is a penalty but Stokes bottled it in the first place not shooting.

Agreed. Also to dive you must know there is someone bearing down on you by looking to see that someone is there - Stokes had his eyes on the ball the whole time - he wouldn't have known that Nelson had slid in if there was no contact and therefore wouldn't have went to ground. Embarrassing 'fans' on this forum sometimes.

It makes you wonder what they actually think does constitute a penalty. Imo it shows a lack of understanding of the game. Even if Stokes did exaggerate the fall, he was still brought down.

Watch his feet. He is not tripped, his foot is not even contacted enough to make it move. He just goes down, there is a split second delay before he reacts which makes it clear he's diving.

I play football for a career and study sports science so i'm fully aware, thanks :87:

you are not allowed to clip an opposing player from behind when they are through on goal. If you do - its a penalty.

Or as a clinical goalscorer he was getting into a postion where he could not miss which he was doing by taking the keeper out of play by going round him.

You play football for a career but you think contact in the box in a tackle from behind isn't a penalty?

I suppose we should be thankful you aren't a ref then :87:

It's unclear weather he makes any contact at all.

If he does it's not a clip as there is no reaction.

Also the "ob" comment was more directed at fans on twitter and facebook, just saying i thought it's unfair and wondered if anyone agreed or not.
