I'd just like to add that the term "ring rust" is hideous.

Watched it again crowd didn't suck mate just poor sound in the huge stadium.

Hope there's something decent on the back of Sheamus/Bryan with DB and AJ. Didn't expect much from the match anyway.

The atmosphere would be great, undoubtedly, but I don't think it would feel quite as special as MITB did last year. There wouldn't be the same hate that there was for Cena directed towards a legend like Jericho and the booing and jeering that was aimed at Cena in July added an awful lot to an already amazing match.

The match itself though, between Punk and Jericho, would be off the charts. Imagine seeing those two battling each other non stop for 60 minutes, displaying some of the greatest technical wrestling ever witnessed in a WWE ring.

I thought that too mate because it was outside but they were loud when they wanted to be, just felt it was flat at certain times. It was a disgrace what they done with bryan v sheamus i thought, they built both superstars up for months and then come WM bang its over.

I hate Cena. I barely watch wrestling nowadays and grew up during the Attitude Era. Me giving credit to Cena shows how bad The Rock was because Cena is usually the one being carried. Like I said earlier, a near 50 Undertaker and a guy with the quadriceps of an old man moved better out there.

Lance Storm said it best "The crowd made Cena/The Rock. Undertaker/Triple H made the crowd"

    But hey, nice try idiot!

Anyways, maybe the best part from last night

Neither rock or cena were brilliant i thought although rock obviously has an excuse. Sometimes it seemed like they werent on the same page, still delighted rock won even though cena will win the impending rematch.

Genuine heat can be bad for matches at times IMO especially as Cena wouldn't have wanted to have to take defeat.f

Yeah felt like that, dont know if anyone noticed but there was a stage in the opening part of the match were cena had rock on floor in a headlock and didnt sell it at all, he had a blanked expression and wasnt even tensing his arm. Honestly i wouldn't be in a rush to see the rematch.

The STF? It was * poor that.

Punk Jericho at Extreme rules in a no holds barred iron-man match would be epic.

The irony of you calling me an idiot, when you're the one that's failing to see that Rock is still as good as he ever was and was equal to, if not better than, Cena at WrestleMania :56:

I also grew up in the Attitude Era and I don't recall Rock ever putting in a better performance than the one he displayed last night and we all know Cena is very limited when it comes to his in ring work, whereas his previous opponents have had more varied movesets for him to work off of.

Go back and watch the match over again and then point out one part of the match where Rock botched. Cena botched the Rock Bottom the first time and this is the guy that's there every night, perfecting his craft, whilst Rock is away making movies most of the year.

Rock is still better, even now. Cena simply wouldn't have made it in the Attitude Era, ahead of Austin, Rock, Kane, Angle, HHH, Undertaker and Mankind. Midcard talent at best.

To me Rocky didn't look as sharp, not a surprise considering how long he's been away but you also need to look at his size, he's bulked up massively since he left.

Yeah they need to continue their feud. Jericho was brilliant i thought, even some of the fans started rooting for him over punk i thought.

Rock has definitely gotten a bit bigger since the good ol' days (probably had to beef up due to his action movie commitments), but Cena is naturally bulky and has always come across to me as being very stiff in the ring.

He doesn't move the way Orton does, or Rock for that matter, both of whom are very quick and deceptive in their wrestling styles. Cena looks more like a bodybuilder than a wrestler and it's no surprise really, considering he never really wanted to be a wrestler in the first place. He failed at bodybuilding and then joined Ohio Valley Wrestling (WWE's former developmental territory). Punk brought it up on Raw during their feud last summer.
