    Btw I sometimes read one of the Rangers forums (to make me laugh) and I noticed there was a French guy that used to get quite a lot of stick from other posters (stuff like "Frenchie" and "frog" etc) and his name was Maxou if I remember correctly? Is that you? Or just a coincidence.

    Welcome Mate, You would think that reading your story would surprise me but it didn't because most Celtic fans are aware of how vile some of the Rangers fans can be..
    They also seem to be losing a lot of fans because they aren't top of the league which only suggests that a lot of their support are not true fans:50:

    Welcome young man. Let me educate you a little. Celtic fans don't care for the ultra extreme British views held by some Rangers fans but that doesn't make us hate the English:rolleyes: Whether we like it or not we Scots/Irish are for the most part British and are irreversibly connected to England via ancestry and current family. Many of our fans on here are English. Not everyone shares the views of Rangers fans. Most of us are proud of our Heritage whether we be Scots or English :50:

    The most important thing to remember is that Celtic Football Club and it's fans embrace everyone of any race or religion as their own. This is in direct contrast to our rivals Rangers who've only ever signed 3 or 4 Catholics at the most. I, for instance, am Protestant as are a lot of people on here and we support Celtic. Whilst you might hear a few comments here and there on this forum we're a mixed support....the majority are Catholic but large numbers of us are Protestant, Moslem, Hindi and whatever. For some Rangers fans it's about supremacy for us it's about the Celtic family and I know which is the most important :50:

    Aye that's me ! :bbpd: Maxou is the nickname for Maxime actually. Yeah I got quite fed up with their anti-french stuff, even if they are not all like that of course. Anyway thanks to Ireland and those posters * behaivour, I'm getting keen on Celtic :icon_mrgreen:

    I know Celtic support is more open-minded than Rangers's, but I was not expecting that amount of vile stupidity from some of rangers fans who more or less had a go at me just becasue I was french ! Anyway, thanks everyone here for your warm welcome, as I was neither expecting this since I've been quite honest as I told you my connection with rangers :notworthy
