Jackie's match is just under 3 weeks away and the jock stein and lisbon lions stands have still not been opened yet because the other two stands have still not sold out. :88:
Probably be a mad rush then or 2 empty stands

  5. Maybe they don't agree with the price just for a testomonial. Don't think players need testomonials today, coz they earn alot of money. Around 30 years ago players needed the money for themselves.

Personally I wouldn't bother with the price though, coz it's enjoyment.

Jackie was never going to get the same reception as Larsson but I did expect a bigger demand than this. Still time yet though.

  7. He's clearly dedicated to have stayed with us for so long, but I never believe he played for nothing.

I thought the tickets for this match would have been hot stuff.

Hopefully I will get going to this match, the club we travel with are doing a deal, where you stay over for the weekend and get to go to the cup final and the testimonial

Dedicated? :87: What other team better than Celtic would have taken him? And don't forget he went through a right * spell.

Think the ticket prices are a joke - they're not much short of a competitive game.
Knock 'em all down to a fiver and watch the place fill to capacity. Which do you reckon Jackie would rather have? A big wodge of cash or 60,000 people chanting his name? If it's the cash he's after, well I'll be glad if it doesn't sell out. These guys are far too comfortable financially as it is.

After all, he did get paid for about 2 years of doing nothing...

The prices for the tickets are a disgrace, its robbery! I'll be over for both the games anyway, so the money for the ticket won't stop me from buying one, but it still is a rip off.
