Hi Folks, looking for a wee bit of help!

I'm taking my wee bhoy to his first game against St Johnstone, usually I just get there 5/10 mins before kick off but want to avoid the rush this time. Does anyone know how long before kick off the gates open.

    Cheers.

Think it's normally around 90 minutes before kick-off.

Good lord people go through the gates that early? I'm usually not even in the Parkhead area until about 30 minutes before kick off.

On matchdays gates open about an hour before ko mate. Seeing as it's your boy's first visit if affordable consider taking in the stadium tour and make it really special for your son.

You have to pre book but pretty sure they run the tour even on match days. Do the tour early and you'll easily avoid the crowds.

I'm positive they do mate, sure I read not long ago on the official website they have tours on Sat and Sundays although obviously only at certain times, I imagine you could get a morning/midday tour on Saturday then take in the game (where we win the league) just after!

I would say around half one. My bus gets in just after 1pm and the shutters are half up normally.

I usually arrive half an hour before the teams arrive and usually the turnstiles open 90 minutes before kick off.
