    well that was * :54:

though if you miss so many easy chances and come up against a GK having a blinder you're asking for trouble; we simply didn't deserve to win because we didn't score, that's it really so well done Killie, Shiels has done a fantastic job

hooper needs benched for a spell not been at it for weeks now, that one he missed in the first half was awful; was disappointed that sammy didn't start and ki made a big difference to the team when he came on in that we actually started creating more

thought it was a pen, stokes gets tackled from behind, guy makes no contact with ball and why would he dive when 1 on 1 with the keeper? then again with the form bell was in he may have saved it anyway so we can't really say we deserved to take it to extra time

of course its not nice to lose cup finals and had we taken just one of our chances I've no doubt we'd have won it but we can't dwell on it, maybe its a good thing we have such a huge match next week, as if we didn't demand a win as it is!!

    make mine a double

Btw, anyone got any pics/videos of the GB display? I could see people holding up cards through the studio window pre-match but by the time the teams came out there was just a huge banner (looked like a Celtic cross) in the middle of the stand.

I think it does. We played better than them. The fact that we didn't play as well as we can, or they played better than normal, doesn't affect that. We weren't at our best against Peterhead in January, but no-one would suggest that they deserved to win just because they play a poorer standard of football. We weren't as good as normal, but we were still better than them.

This is the best point made on that incident yet and imo gives us a clear indication of Collum's mentaltiy when he takes our games.

Out of all the players you had to choose from (Lafferty, Boyd, Naismith) you choose to call Stan Petrov a diver?

    Right you are.

as * as it is losing a cup final, I guess this ends the myth that scottish football needs Rangers because otherwise we would win everything

let's face it, football is about these kind of days, if we did win everything we could never properly appreciate it; you've got to take the lows with the highs!

    still * annoyed though lol

maybe this is the kick in the baws we need, after all we've been pretty poor this month anyway

    Full credit to Killy but...

Samaras should have started and stokes shouldn't have dived at the end.

We should have took Wilson off instead of rogne.

Was so angry when I got in but have calmed down but have to say we lacked a cutting edge today. Defo penalty but.

Police were * but was sitting next to the separation thing and they kept ejecting people for abit of shouting across the divide it's football not cricket fs

    Disappointed.

I though Cammy Bell was terrific. He won the trophy single handedly.

The team put out was the team I'd have chosen, so No complaints there. I though it was criminal defending from K. Wilson for their goal. He just watched it and stood still...his expression didn't even change once the ball was in the net....

I've always said, even up until yesterday, I was happy with the league.

we are not the team we think we are, this will not get any better if we don't address
the ability from the midfield they are far to slow in the attack, and are giving teams plenty of time to regroup, and at the other end our defence comes way far to far up the park and are getting *, with there quick attacks. we cant draw there defence out but with the slow play, our midfield are drawing our own midfield out with there pass back * and side ways passing That we do, it needs to stop now, or we are * in the next cup games also.

What about the previous 26 games?! If these problems have been prevalent during this run I'd be more than happy to live with them.

Have to agree with you mate. Kille closed us down far quicker than we did them. When they broke their midfield was a lot quicker to support. What did it for me was when we lost the ball in or around their box some of our players showed no urgency to get back and win the ball back.

    * Killie, they play horrible, defensive, pish anti-football and always have, we were the better team despite having a shocker. Sorry but they didn't win the League Cup, we gave them it so * all credit to them.

Samaras should have started, true. It wasn't a dive, fact.

Agreed, unless Rogne picked up a knock I'm puzzled why he was taken off instead of Wilson and not just because Wilson had his finger up his * for the goal, because Rogne in my opinion is our best CB.
