ok we played poorly today and our players let us down, its not the end of the world. The huns are stood at deaths door, we have won the league and still in with a chance of another cup. Hands up who would have been happy with that at the start of the season, i would for sure.
As for the Stokes penalty incident, i thought it was too hard a call for Gollum so hold no grudge with that, if we can't finish the game in 84 mins then thats not the refs fault. Their keeper was outstanding, thats what won them the cup, not a poor referee decision. Haven't seen Lenny's post match interview but just hope he doesn't embarrass himself

He was trying to get the ball under better control. What is difficult to understand there. Listen to Lenny's interview if you dont believe it.

    * pish today, looked second to everything in the first half, picked it up in the second and obviously Killie defended in numbers, we should have had enough to see off Killie in a cup final, but once again a lot of players did not turn up, only Charlie Mulgrew gets pass marks for me today.

A lot is being made of the keeper today, but I thought a lot of the shots went down his throat, the exceptions being the Stokes header and getting his hand to Brown's piledriver.

    * seen it all with Celtic, doesn't make it any better though.

Maybe a bit of Karma, humble pie, egg on the face, take your pick for some of us Bhoys in green today, I've enjoyed rubbing it in with the best of them. karma is a *.

Not failed to score since October then we chose a cup final to draw a blank.

Utterally scunnered and rambling, so will just leave it at that:54::54:

    haha aye sounds good.
But when ever I mention about us being top of the league etc, they just come out with ' aye, only cause we went into administration' and I tell them that even if they still had the 10 points that got chopped off we would still be miles ahead!

    * does my head in, they go on about the 'mental affect' it would have on the players.

Greengrocer, nah its just random buddy! :50:

Cheers lads, Ill get stuck in about them tomorrow if they start any *!

:50::50: well said mate!!! Again some of the comments on here are just * disgraceful. Yes we played bad, yes we are all disappointed but singling out players and wanting someone to blame is just out of order! every man from 1-11 were * including the management but we just got to pick ourselves up and go to the scummy inbreeds next week and hump them.

Have to say, Cammy Bell was absolutely outstanding today. That coupled with a very average Celtic performance resulted in a defeat. Stokesy had quite a good game though. Had a magnificent header miraculously saved by Bell and should have had a penalty in the last minute.

    I'm not picky.
I agree - it was a def penalty. Stokes got the ball, tried to get into a better position to unleash a shot but was taken out from behind which equals a penalty.

I saw someone post that the ref wasn't 100% sure so he couldn't give it but he was 100% sure that Stokes "dived"?

Plus their player was nowhere near the ball for the tackle either when he made contact with Stokes. Was a penalty.

Take your green tinted glasses off. No contact! Stokes blatantly drived!

PS, do you not have the intelligence to make a point without giving out personal abuse? Grow up! :87:
