am i right in thinking that we played ict last season at 6pm was because a live match wasn't allowed to be shown when the champions league is on. last night birmingham chelsea was live in england and tonight spurs stevenage is live on espn at the same time as cl games are on.

    You're correct.

Our game was on ITV I think but no replays were allowed :50:

Might be wrong about the ITV bit though.

Yes, we did & that was the case. That said, the ICT game co-incided with the CL semi-final, so perhaps that guideline only comes into effect at the very sharp end of the CL tournament?

If I'm not mistaken I read an article over the summer where a number of national associations had raised objections to this to UEFA, so perhaps the governing body had a change of mind over this?

Did we not play them twice at 6pm? Earlier in the season and that was Celtic TV only then the game later in the season which we lost 3-2?

That's strange, live football isn't allowed on whilst the Champions League is on, no matter what stage. Typical double standards. * Uefa.

The game in which we lost the league last year at Inverness was a 6pm kick off and was aired live on ESPN.

It was definitely on ESPN. The whole reason for kicking off earlier, was so that it could be televised

Might be onto something, the Cup game which was cancelled on the Saturday due to the weather.

Is it maybe something to do with cup games vs league games?

We played twice at 6 last season. St J (1-0) and ICT (2-3) both were on ESPN and started early to avoid a clash with the CL.

Our cup 1/4 final with ICT (2-1) was a 7:45 KO but wasn't on tv because of the CL.

No idea why the FA Cup games are being shown. Seems like double standards. Hope the SFA ask for clarity. The 6PM KOs and the non televised Cup game were unfair on the fans.
