Thanks Ache mate, I think an 'El Classico' would have been nice for old times sake and I know there would have been absolutely no bitchy comments between us unlike my final with Mick.

We've all said daft things, I'm holding nothing against him, getting to final and losing is *, I can understand that.

Anyway, we have got this far without any arguring so let's not start now, it was a very exciting final, thanks so much for taking part guys, you've all been amazing, getting games done quick, really happy with how it's went, best tourney for ages.

Nah wouldn't be the same we haven't even finished this yet, we need a little break from tourneys, I know exactly how to do things now, doing a tourney days after this finished won't be the same, wait a few days and then I'll look in the tourney ideas thread and sort something out, just post your ideas in there.

Like I say, I wish to thank you all for taking part, there's alot of people with unfinished bussiness, Badger will be dissapointed with this tourney and no doubt be back to getting to the finals next tourney, Manni is improving to the point he is now considered * brillaint, Maxa has gave himself some pride and looks to be improving by doing well this time, Sonny will be itching to get involved, Mick will be wanting to get revenge on me Jamie will be gutted, there's so much happening lately, I can't wait for the next one.

Well done mark for both winning the tourney and organising it. Enjoyed the match we had and reckon you deserved to win over all. Also Must have been quite time consuming making those tables and shiz, good effort.

Enjoyed the tourney and hope to play again. I was really impressed by the standard, everyone I played was pretty good!

 

im stuck on 17 points last 2 season in div 2 on head to head on 13 just now with 2 games to go on another note mark lets get everybody going again with same format lets just mix the teams up fair play to you in winning and hosting but everybody im sure is desparate to go again with this lets get a poll up lol first fifa secton poll

I've won 7 leagues in my last 8 seasons and I'm not even a great head to head player.

Just need to grind out results and defend with caution.

And yeah we should just start the next one within the next few days.

Guys, doing this all over again is a bad idea, trust me on this one, 50% of the players will agree we need to do something different now, we've just had a really long and successful tourney that started weeks and weeks ago, we haven't even finished it yet, making another one won't have half the same enjoyment, it will be doing a tourney for the sake of it rather than because everyone is up for one.

Starting a new tourney just as one is finishing does not work. Give it a few days and me or someone else will start a new one up but we need to give it a bit of time.

 

Can I start up a World Cup and we'll start it on Monday?

mark i didnt say anything bitchy, bitchyness is like talking behind your back and i never done that. i gave you my honest opinion and told you that on the ps3.... i said you dominated the 2nd half... i dominated the first how u can say i never is beyond me. i had 57% possession, more shots on and off (altogether). and like i said there was three opportunities i was through with klose and if it wasnt for his lack of pace it could have been a much bigger scoreline at half time.

what i would say about the final is that it was played the way it should of been played. although i bet you expected i would sit back and take a pounding, i came at you and i thinks thats why i was better in the first half. in the 2nd half i didnt know what to do and after losing another 2 unlucky goals before you scored a belter with diarra i didnt know what to do.

the very least i deserved was extra time. i cant fault your chance taking and 4th and 5th goal though. im happy with the way i played in the tournament.

about getting revenge.. i doubt that. your undoubtedly a better player than me. we just have to wait and see how things pan out a suppose. maybe ill get my chance one day haha.

and finally to badger, i know weve patched things up recently, but u haveing your little digs everytime you get the chance is uncalled for. first i never said i was the best any or striker in the world.. next time u try a dig at me just remember i took 4 points off you in the group stages

and just something i forgot to say markey.. me looking at my replays wasnt intent on doing anything to * you off, i simply just wanted to see the goal quickly. i watch it once and click off. i do it with everyone just so people know pissiing off people its not my intention.

I checked the stats after the game on purpose, I assure you I had more shots both on and off target, well on my screen anyway, I disagree with you completely, I think I had the better of both halfs, we'll just have to agree to disagree mate, I think I deserved my win, you think differently, no I didn't expect you to sit back, you've scored goals all through the tourney, knew I was in for a close match.

It's not just about the game though mate, your attitude towards me wasn't very respecful, I know it's only a daft tourney but you should have responded to my game by saying well done and agreeing with me that it was a close game, not instantly starting your IMO lies about how you didn't deserve to lose, you conceded 5 goals in the match, I think that backs up my point I deserved the win, but like you say we could go back and forth all night, I'm shocked at how you saw things in the match but I suppose everyone has their side of the story, it was a cracking tourney.

You haven't said anything too bad and noobdy was had to make me issue a formal warning so it's been a success, I suppose it shows people are passionate for these tourneys which is a good thing meaning I'm doing a good job, like I say mate, no hard feelings at all from my corner, just for the record, when you sent me a chat invite I was in a 0-0 really cagey game and forgot to accept, I wasn't being childish or anything.

Getting to the final with Lazio is excellent, you'll no doubt compete with ANY nobody if you get one of the better teams Mick, I look forward to our next games.
