Yeah, I suppose defensively he's been alright - Daly did get a free header just off target near the start of the game, but that's about it. With the ball at his feet he hasn't utilised it, but then neither has pretty much anyone in the Celtic team.

Samaras has been one of our best players in the 1st half. McCourt never passes and doesn't track back. We also need samaras for the height for corners.

Hopefully we can keep the ball better and tire them out a bit.

That's rubbish, Paddy's vision and passing is one of his top attributes.

Dundee United were the better team before that though, so it's a fair enough comment. They had the best scoring chance of the game thus far.

Samaras is a better team player, and offers us someone to get their head to the ball for our long balls :)87:), but McCourt is a better dribbler and more of a goal-scorer.

But sod that, anyway. I want Wilson on, Wanyama at DM, and Brown and Ledley in CM.

We are not knocking the ball about and the passing has been sloppy as anything, we have been well below par, struggling to create anything and the work rate isnt what it should be, imo we have been very very poor

Nonsense. McCourt is one of these guys who is brilliant on his back garden, all the tricks you can imagine but put him in a real game and he's got nothing.

Samaras' running got Neilson his first yellow card. If that was McCourt, he would have walked the ball out the by like, resulting in a throw in to Dundee United.
